"One o'clock. Do you want to go to the room?" Law questioned, placing his mobile back in his back pocket.
You thought about it for a second. You were pretty tired, and you didn't think the party would last much longer. "Yes, let's look for the lovebirds," you decided, stifling a yawn. You weren't used to going to sleep this late.
You approached Amy and Felix to let them know you were leaving. "Thank you very much for coming," Amy replied with a kind smile, giving you a hug.
You hugged Felix too. "Did you guys have fun?" he asked the both of you.
"Yes! It was awesome! Thank you so much for inviting us," you cheered.
Law gave them a polite nod to show his agreement with your words.
"See you after our honeymoon, I hope!" the bride added.
"Oh, when are you leaving?" you questioned in excitement.
"The day after tomorrow!!" she replied, even more excited.
"That's nice! I hope you have a nice journey and have fun!"
"Sure we will!" she turned to her husband with sparkly, loving eyes.
"We'll have time to bore you with pictures and videos when we're back," he joked.
"I'll be looking forward to it," you humorously rolled your eyes, and they laughed. "Well, good night. Enjoy your honeymoon."
They thanked you again and wished good night to Law and you.
You went to look for Esther next, bumping into her and Amy's parents first. So you had a polite, short talk with them before finding her.
"Ther!" you called her when you saw her standing beside her table and drinking from her cup. "We're going to the hotel room."
"Oh, okay. Enjoy the rest of your night together. I'll have to do it alone..." She shrugged in resignation, although a smile curved her lips.
"You had no luck in the end, I guess." You smiled apologetically.
"Nope. But that's fine. I'm in no hurry, and as long as I have mangas, I'll be okay," she waved it off.
Law wasn't sure of how to take that affirmation.
"Well, good night. I'm sure Law will sleep like a log, he has danced a lot." She playfully swayed her eyebrow at him.
"Cut it out," he dryly retorted. He had been wondering when would she tease him for being out of character that night.
"If that's the best reply you have, you're actually in need of a good sleep," she pointed out.
"I keep my good replies for someone who deserves them," was his sharp response.
Esther blinked a couple of times before turning to you. "Okay, he's fine."
You laughed a little. "He's normally working at this hour, of course he's fine," you noted. "Good night, Esther."
"Good night~!" she crooned. "See you next week."
You were turning to leave, but paused when you heard her last sentence. "Aren't you staying at the hotel?" you asked her.
"Yes, but I'll wake up early. I need to help my brother and my new sister so they can leave everything ready before the honeymoon," she explained.
"Good luck, then."
With a last smile, you finally turned around and left the dining room to look for the reception desk, taking with you the bouquet Law 'caught'. His hand soon grabbed yours, and you gave it a gentle squeeze, smiling up at him.
