__________

BerryClan life was going great, it was the beginning of Newleaf and life was flourishing. The camps walls that were made out of large bushes were in full bloom, the pink petals bright and smelling like StarClan had come to settle down with them during this time of moon. The stream in the middle of camp had carried tiny fish for the kits to play with, everything seemed happy. Except for one cat, Twitchbreeze. The skinny tom just didn't fit in, while the rest of the clan had grown tall and muscular he was still barely bigger than an apprentice. Although he was close to being the fastest cat in the Clan, no one would care about it. There are many dangerous around the territory, foxes, owls, snakes and sometimes even badgers. Being his size wouldn't be able to help in anything. He was a nobody, except in Figheart's world. The russet she-cat wouldn't let anyone bully him as long as she was there, and he was grateful for that but he was just frustrated that he couldn't show anyone how useful of a clanmate he was.

( during the afternoon )

Twitchbreeze padded back into camp with a couple of mice in his jaws and a bluebird thrown across his back. His ear twitched as he heard the usual quietness settle around for a few moments as cats saw him, but as soon as he looked up they started talking again. His head dropped once again as he dropped his catch in the prey pile, slipping the bluebird off of his back and on top of the mice. "Hey Twitchbreeze!" Someone called, making the tom flinch slightly as he looked up. The tom glanced up toward the form of Chestnutfur, the toms maw in a smirk as he glared at him. "What?" He called back, his tone quiet as he stood up straighter. His tail-tip twitched as the tom and his little group padded closer to him, the eyes glinting with mischief. "Nice catch you got there, did your little she-cat friend help you." He said, his tail lashing as he glanced down at him. "No she didn't help me. If you had brains and looked around then maybe you would notice that I walked out of camp alone." He hissed, his fur prickling as he glared up at him. Chestnutfur's gaze widened slightly as Twitchbreeze spoke back, though a second had passed before a low snarl started in his throat. "How dare you speak to me like that, you pathetic weakling." He snarled, his teeth showing as he shoved Twitchbreeze onto the ground. The grey tom fell onto his back as the light brown tom jumped on top of him, his claws sinking into his fur as he let all of his weight on top of him. The skinny toms paws flailed in the air as his breath was knocked out from under him, his jaw open as he gasped for air. His back paws were on Chestnutfur's belly but he didn't do anything, only laid there. The toms head bent down toward his ear, his hot breath blowing across his fur. "Don't you even think that you-" He started but was cut off as something slammed into his side, the cat sending him onto the camp floor. Twitchbreeze felt the weight lift off of him and took in a large gulp of air, his body sore as he lifted his head up to see what was going on. 'Quitecreek?' He thought, his wide gaze staring at the deputies large form as he held down Chestnutfur. Twitchbreeze saw the larger toms claws prssed against the side of his head, holding him down with a hiss flowing out of his mouth. "Next time I see you bully any other clanmate, I'll make sure to have you sleep in the snake pit." He threatened, his tone low and cold as he spoke. Chestnutfur burned his eyes into his as he gave a slow nod, getting up from the ground slowly as the deputy got off of him. The grey tom lifted himself up off of the ground and shook out his fur, dust flowing into the air as embarrassment filled his chest. Luckily no one was really in camp, they were all out on patrols gathering prey for the big celebration every Newleaf. "Not everyone can keep on saving your hide Twitchbreeze." Quitecreek spoke, resting a tail on the young toms shoulder. "You need to learn that you can take care of yourself." He meowed and walked off, his ears twitching as he walked up the small slope toward the leaders den.
