So much shit was running through Cassidy head all she could focus on was the current events that happened earlier. Dasani was throwing her through a loop hole and it was starting to mess with her head

No matter how hard she tried to focus on something else yesterdays events just kept replaying over and over

He was changing , he was more unstable than ever. The Dasani she knew would never let anyone come in between their family nor put their family in danger. Kiana was a psychotic crazy person and he acted as if he couldn't tell

All Cassidy wanted to do was get her family back on right terms and get all of the drama out of the air because it was starting to take a toll on her

Taco night was tonight but she didn't think she was going to be able to handle it , so she was planning on leaving as soon as Dasani got here

She didn't want to cancel it because that wouldn't be fair to the kids at all

It was currently 3:45 and the kids were already out of school taco night started at 5:00

Cassidy always had taco night on Fridays instead of Tuesdays so the kids could stay up passed 10 without over sleeping in the morning for school

"Mommy is Kenya coming over for taco night?" Chanel asked as she sat in the kitchen on the stool eating her gold fish

"No baby she won't be coming over tonight, you know it's a family thing" she said making Chanel frown

"Then why are you leaving?" She asked

"Because mommy has something to do, go to your room"

"Liar" she mumbled getting up leaving fast before Cassidy could say anything

Pulling out all the ingredients that they'll need she placed it on the counter

Time flew faster than she knew it and Dasani was now standing outside of her door ringing the door bell

Going to open the door she took a deep breathe before being face to face with him

He looked horrible he literally looked like the life inside of him had been snatched away, he had dark bags under his eyes and  his eyes were red as if had spent the whole night crying , he looked like he hadn't gotten sleep at all

Cassidy wanted to feel bad for him but she couldn't , he'd put her and their kids in danger and that at this moment was unforgivable. no matter what he was going through he should always be their to protect his family

But seeing him like this she couldn't t leave the kids with him due to how unstable he looked

"Go to the bathroom and wash your face or something, you look like you've been to hell and back get your self together before they notice your here" she said as he simply nodded his head making his way to the bathroom

As he did that Cassidy turned on the stove and began cooking the ground beef

A few seconds later she could hear him interacting with the kids

"Daddy I'm ready to eat tacos , I love tacos" Chanel voice said making Cassidy laugh, tacos was her favorite food and she wanted to eat them everyday that's why the created taco night

"I know baby , you can eat all the tacos you want tonight" he said carrying her into the kitchen

"She is to big to be getting picked up"

"Never, ima be picking her up till she 10" he said making Cassidy shake her head

"You day that now but watch you gonna have a broken hip in a few years from picking her big ass up all the time"

"Mommy you talk to much" Chanel said as Dasani sat her in the chair making Cassidy head snap towards her

"No little girl you talk to much and if you keep it going your gonna have a Butt whooping calling you name"

"Apollo and cashmere come here" she called out for them as they sat in their room playing fortnight

"Dasani you mind going to get them?" She asked as he nodded his head going to the back

"Chanel you wanna help?" She asked as Chanel eagerly hopped out of the chair going to help

"Can I put the cheese in?"She asked grabbing the cheese

"Yes just a little bit you wanna save some for later" she told her opening the bag as Chanel put her hand in it sprinkling the cheese on the meat

"Ma why you letting her cook , she don't know how" cashmere said walking in with Dasani and Apollo behind him

"Boy shutup lets not talk about the last time you tried to cook" apollo said sitting at the table

"Both of y'all hush , she's only putting the cheese in"

"That's my job, I always put the cheese in" cashmere said making Cassidy sigh

"Okay but I told you to come here but you didn't then I had to send your dad to get you so you missed out this time"

"Go watch tv he food almost done, find a movie for us to watch" she said as Apollo hurried and went to the living room to find the remote before anyone else got it

"D did you handle kiana yet?" She asked as he simply nodded

"Yeah has some people put her ass in a crazy house she won't be out no time soon" he said as Cassidy nodded getting the shells for the tacos out

"Good" She said not holding the conversation as she got the drinks and cups out

"What y'all want to drink"

"Apple juice!" They yelled back as she got it out of the refrigerator

"I'm thinking about moving" Dasani blurted out

"That's cool" Cassidy said

"Out of the city , I'm not tryna be here anymore " he said making Cassidy stop what she was doing

"What about the kids, you just gonna leave them?"

"I don't want to be here anymore! This place ain't nothing but bad memories, I wanna start fresh"

Nodding her head she didn't say anything , regardless what she said he was gonna do what he wanted to do.

That was his thing now
