Yoongis POV
Taehyung led me towards the table he had reserved. It was decked with both bright red roses and light that put a dare I say romantic feeling to it.
He was already pulling out the chair for me and filling up my glass with what I assume is wine. As he himself sat down in his own chair I finally took in the restaurant we were in. It had something akin to a purple theme while also using a lot of reds and sometimes subtle pink.
It was beautiful yet the only thing more beautiful than the decorating was the man that was sitting in front of me. He was breathtaking and when you combined him with all of the decorating then it just made it much better.
I was about to say something but Taehyung was quicker. "I'm so sorry I haven't spoken to you the last week! I was kinda busy planning this and I wanted to keep it secret! please forgive me."
I smiled a little at him as he spouted the words talking in a hurry with both his hands slapped together above his head.
"You don't need to apologise Taehyung it's fine really I understand that it was a surprise." I end with a soft chuckle as Taehyung reddens a little. We both quiet down a little as we look at the menu trying to decide what we'll get.
After a while a waiter comes over to us to take our orders. The waiter reminds of someone yet I can't see it with them having to cover their face as a part of their uniform.
But as soon as the waiter speaks I immediately know who it is.
"What would you like to order?" The waiter says as they look down to their notebook not having looked up yet.
"Hoseok? Is that you?" Taehyung asks with a small friendly smile.
The waiter finally looks up at us and his eyes go huge.
"Yoongi-hyung? Taehyung? what are you two doing here?" Hoseok asks with a bright voice and if he didn't have the mask on you'd probably be able to see his heart-smile.
"We're here on a date!" Taehyung answered happily. This caused me to feel a bright blush taking over my features. I smiled towards Hoseok before asking for what I'd decided on.
Hoseok sends me a bright smile before turning to Taehyung. Taehyung takes a little while to answer but he finally notices that boy me and Hoseok are waiting for him to speak.
After Hoseok has noted down both of our orders he takes of towards the kitchen but not before yelling "Good luck on your date guys!"
Both me and Taehyung laugh a little as he does this before we fall in to a comforting silence. It was broken when Taehyung coughed.
I looked up from my view looking at the flowers in front of me to see Taehyung looking at me with something almost like a lovesick smile on his face.
I was about to ask what he was staring at or if I had something on my face but he began taking before I had the chance.
"You know it was really hard to keep away from you for a whole week Yoongi-hyung. But I think it payed of don't you?" As he asked this his lips slowly curled up to something more like a smirk than his usual boxy grin.
Before I could say anything to answer him our drinks had come. This time it wasn't Hoseok but a young lady. She was most likely a part-timer considering how young she looked.
"Excuse me sirs? Here are your drinks. Please call for help if there is any problem!" As she spoke her voice wavered and she was blushing as if she was standing in front of a celebrity. Both me and Taehyung waved her off after thanking her for the drink.
We once again fell into a soft silence that was calm yet not so quiet that you would be able to hear a needle drop.
"I think it payed off." I said after what felt like 10 minutes but must've only been 5.
"Hmm?"
"I think it payed off that you were away from me for a week... if it means that this is what comes out of it then please do take your time to plan something again." I ended my little spiel with a smile.
Taehyung looked at me in awe before grinning his beautiful boxy grin.
"Well if you do say so then I think I'll be planning a lot more dates like this one."
...
"As long as I have the money for it!" Taehyung added after a few seconds of contend silence.
Soon our food came and we ate in relative silence only speaking up when the other didn't have any food in their mouth.
It seemed as if time went by to fast because suddenly we were standing outside the restaurant. We were slowly walking over towards where Taehyung had parked his car before we both sat down in it.
The quiet hum of the motor as we drove away from the restaurant slowly lulled me to sleep and suddenly I couldn't see more than a dream.
By the time I had woken up we were already at my house. Taehyung followed me up to the door before stopping and looking at me.
"I had fun tonight Yoongi-hyung! I do hope we can do it again someday!"
"I hope so too Taehyungie. I'll see you next time-" Before I could finish my sentence there were a pair of lips on my own. I froze a little but immediately warmed up pushing back against Taehyungs lips. His lips were soft but a little chapped from the cool night air. He slowly pulled back before giving me a bright smile.
"Goodbye Yoongi-hyung! I hope you have a good night!" Taehyung yelled before going back towards his car.
"Goodbye Taehyung I hope you have a good night too!" I yelled back before I slowly saw him driving away from my street.
As soon as I couldn't see him anymore I slipped into my house slidding down the front door. My back against the soft yet harsh wood. I slowly let out a build up breath before my face split into something akin to a shit eating grin paired with a lovesick smile.
I really was in love with Taehyung.
