A WEEK LATER...

After I finished putting on my mascara, I rode to school in Sam's Honda. It smelled like smoke, perfume, and cologne. When I got to French, I sit down and take out my writers notebook to a fresh page. Then I see it. Jake's and Bryanna's noses touching. Jake's hands are around her waist. I feel a stab in the area around where my heart would be. Bryanna lets their lips meet. Jake comes up to breathe and gets a glimpse of my eye. He smirks and I feel tears well up in my eyes. I run down the hall to the bathrooms as the tears start streaming down my face and onto my neck. I rub my eyes, trying to wipe away the memories but they're implanted in my brain like a tattoo. I finally make it to the bathroom and splash cold water on my face that doesn't stop the floods of misery. I then realize my notebook is still in my hand. I turn it to a fresh page and write:
