a hidden tower lies beyond our reach
concealed by a curtain of dampened ivy
with stone bricks that stack upwards
pointing towards the heavens
scraping wisps of opaque clouds
while scarlet roses climb up the walls
encased by a shield of thick vines
whose thorns protrude outwards
defending the lonely princess
who has known nothing but
the stone walls which shield her
from a world beyond the tower.
