Chapter Three The New Beginning

Nash's P.O.V.

We were all so excited to have Jewels tagging along with us. We landed in Billings but we were only staying for a few hours than going to Long Beach California. The meet'n'greet only lasted 3hrs so we went to the air port to wait for the flight. Jewels was way to hype. I guess she was just excited. I took a nap.

I was way too excited and time flew by at the air port. We were on the plane in no time. I was awake the whole time, but I was on my phone the whole time. It was 5pm when when we got to long beach. We all took naps then at 7 we were all ready for the meet'n'greet at 7:30pm. The meet'n'greet was awesome. I had way more fans than i thought. But one really stood out, not in a good way either. I was signing her merch, she was happy until Hayes ran over and hugged me, he pulled me over to the side and kissed me in front of everyone, "so how did you like your first kiss?" He asked me "magical!" I pulled him in closer and kissed him again. "I've got to go back over there now see in a bit!" He said pulling away. "Okay" I said and walked back over to my fan. "What the fuck was that?!" She yelled "oh me and Hayes are kinda a thing now, so do you wanna take some pics?" I said "if you ever touch him again you will die of a slow painful death." She whispered in my ear as we took the pictures. I got really scared and ran over to Hayes and told him. "Don't worry babe! I'll post up next to you now. Okay babe?" He told me "Okay" I replied "but what if she was serious?" I asked "Don't worry we aren't in any danger. But Tomorrow we are going to the beach, wanna come?" He asked "Ya! I can finally wear my bikini!" I said "I can't wait to see you in it" he bit his lip and stared at me with this look on his face like he wanted to rip my clothes if with his teeth. I smiled and went back to my area to take some pics. We were almost done just a few more people then it was all over. I took a pic of the last girl there and posted it on Instagram. I plopped down on the ground "ugh the day is finally over!" I yelled "Hey Jewels this girl invited us to a party wanna go or do you wanna go watch a movie?" Hayes asked me "ohhh a party sounds fun! Ya let's go!" We told Nash and the party was on the beach, at a bon fire. We were dancing and talking and having fun then someone showed up with alcohol. "Hayes I wanna go back to the hotel!" I told Hayes. "Come on babe! Have some fun!" Hayes told me. It kinda made me mad he wouldn't take me back to the hotel. So I sat in the corner away from it all so I didn't get pressured into drinking any. My favorite song came on and I had to dance so I got up and found Hayes and started to dance. We were grinding on each other then he threw up next to me. "Hayes! What! The! Fuck! You've been drinking!? I thought you were better than that!" I help him back to hotel, witch was beach side. We Walked into the hotel room me, Nash, and Hayes were sharing and Hayes collapsed by the door. "What the fuck!" Nash yelled,  everyone was still wake "Hayes got drunk at the party!" Nash walked over and slapped Hayes "What the fuck were you thinking Hayes!"Nash yelled "Let's get him into the bathroom just in case he pukes again" I said. Then I heard a knock on the door "Nash can you answer that please?" I said while me and Nash carried Hayes into the bath room. Nash answered it it was 3 girls"Oh my gosh! He actually gave us the right hotel room number!" I heard a girl say at the door. "Hayes GAVE YOU HIS HOTEL ROOM NUMBER!?" I yelled. "Ya, we were dancing with him at the party and said he wanted us to come by latter tonight." One of the girls said. "And he kissed her!" Another girl said. "WHAT!" I yelled. "Ya! I kissed Hayes Grier! eek!" She yelled "HE IS MY BOYFRIEND! YOU NEED TO LEAVE SORRY" I said then slammed the door. I collapsed on the door and burst into tears. Nash went in the bath room and got Hayes to stand up. He pulled him over to were he can see me. "You see that beautiful girl right there! LOOK AT HER!" Nash yelled and pointed at me "You missed out big time buddy. She is beautiful! Kind! Funny! You ideal girl! But you cheated on her! For what? Too look cool? Cause you just look like a dushe bag to us. Or maybe that's what you wanted? To be an ass hole? To break her heart? To see her cry? Well you won't be able to anymore! She is finishing the tour and you're going home after the next meet'n'greet tomorrow!" Nash yelled and pushed Hayes onto the floor then came over and picked me up, I wasn't hesitant at all, I needed a hug. I wrapped my arms and legs around him as he walked out the door. He took me to the room Cam, Taylor and Carter were sharing, he knocked on the door. "Hey bro what's up!" Cam said then he looked up and saw Nash was holding me "What happened!? Is she okay?! She didn't get hurt again did she!?" Cam yelled stepping back so he could walk in. "No. But Hayes cheated on her so can she sleep in here with you guys. I don't think she wants to be near him." Nash asked then sat me next to carter, I hugged Carter and started crying harder. "I'm gonna beat the shit out of that boy!" Cam yelled "No! Not yet! He is still drunk!" Nash yelled "The fuck was he thinking!?" Taylor yelled. "No! He is getting his ass beat whether he likes it or not!" Cam yelled. I got up to go back to our room to pack. "What are you doing?" Nash asked. "I'm gonna go pack, cause I'm gonna go home." I said trying to stop crying "No you are staying! Hayes is leaving!" Nash said "No! Hayes has way more fans then I do. He has more people that depend on him." I said crying and walking out of the room Taylor ran after me and stopped me. "But you have us that depend on you! You are staying! But if you insist! So will Hayes." "Okay" I said still sobbing "I still need to get my stuff out of that room" "okay I'll go with you!" He said then wrapped his arm around me. I felt so loved and needed around them. We walked in and Hayes was crying. Taylor just gave Hayes a dirty look and helped me carry everything back to there room. "Wait!" Hayes yelled "I know a simple sorry isn't gonna make up for-" I cut him off "No it isn't! Nothing will! You toyed with my emotions Hayes! I'm not gonna listen to your bull shit excuses! Don't bother trying!" As I yelled that he teared up. I didn't care tho. He cheated on me! I was so pissed! But mainly sad and felt betrayed. We went back to the hotel room Cam, Taylor and carter were staying in. Cam ran over and hugged me. "Don't worry babe! He never deserved you any we way!" Cam said picking me up. They made me feel so loved. I had never felt this loved. Nash went back to his room and we watched "Switched At Birth", my favorite TV show, on Netflix. By the time I was sleeping, I had for gotten about what Hayes did. Then I woke up and reality hit me hard. I looked in the mirror and I was either crying in my sleep or I cried myself to sleep. I hurried up and got in the shower so the boys didn't see. When I got out the boys were still sleeping. Then I heard a knock on the door, it was Hayes. "No!" I said "I'm not here to say sorry because I know not a million sorrys will make up for what I did. I was stupid, ignorant, and careless. I missed out. I let all these screaming fan girls change me. All the screaming fans I let it change me. You deserve the old me not the ass hole I am now. I am here cause Nashe  told me to ask you if you wanted to go with us to the breakfast buffet down stairs?"e He said almost in tears and I was too. I hugged him. "I d still  don't forgive you at all! You  have to make it up to me. We aren't back together either but we can be OK with each other. And w I'll tell the boys and see if they wanna go too." I said then invited him in, but I forgot I had nothing on but a bath robe. "Umm... Jewels? You don't have any clothes on!" He said "Oh shit! Can you wake them up while I get dressed?" I asked "yeah" I picked out a pink half shirt, white high waisted shorts and pink and white vans. While I was changing I heard a scream so ran out to see what it was. I saw Hayes on the floor with one hand covering his eye and can standing up with his fists balled up and looked pissed "What the hell happened?" I asked "I just tried to wake him up then he punched me in the face!" Hayes yelled "You deserve more than that ass hole!" Can yelled back. I started to laugh. "Why are you laughing!?" Hayes asked "Cause he is right. Get you ass up and stop being a baby." I said then did my hair. Then went down stairs and Hayes was still pissed that Cam punched him. "I still don't get why you had to punch me in the eye!" Hayes said "BECAUSE YOU DESERVED IT!" Cam, Taylor and Carter all said at the same time, I just laughed. "Sorry, I was stupid, ignorant, selfish and a ass hole! I never deserved her! She is out of my league! I was honestly lucky a girl like her would date me in the first place! And I fucked it up! I am honestly ashamed and hate myself for what I did now can we stop talking about it!?" He yelled. When we got to the buffet I at practically ate everything! Then we went to the show. We walked on stage one at a time, last show me and Hayes kissed for the crowd but we won't this time I hope we don't disappoint any fans. 1st up was Nash then Can then carter then Taylor then Hayes then me. I walked on stage and the crowd went wild. I almost  started to cry I was so happy. Then my nightmares came true and the crowd started chanting "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" I looked at Hayes and he was looking down really Sad so did I. I honestly missed his long hugs and kisses but I knew that if I went back I would look stupid. "I'm sorry!" I said in tears and ran off stage "Sorry guys I'll be right back!" Nash said and ran after me. I ran in the bathroom and pulled out my phone, I hadn't been online since Hayes cheated on me. I started crying even harder. # HayesCheatedOnJewels was trending # 1 world wide. Everyone knew. Everyone. They all knew that he broke my heart. Pics of them kissing everywhere. People's profile pic, cover photos, in my mentions. There was no forgetting it. Ever. I will always be there. In my mind. On the internet. In my life. No forgetting. At least not for me. I looked on Hayes' Twitter. I laughed, I couldn't help but laugh at the fact he lost 20k followers. I don't know if it was because he cheated on me or what. The last thing he tweeted made me cry harder then I ever have before, it was "I messed up. Real bad. Im an ass hole I know that. I never deserved her. She's out of my league. She's perfect. Im stupid. Im dead w/out her" I cried as hard as I could. I took a deep breath and looked in the mirror. "You can do this! Do it for them. For your fans." I swallowed my pride. Washed my face. Thought of what always made me happy. The fact I was 19 days clean, I didn't tell the guys. I didn't want them to know. I was scared they would judge me, everyone did. I lifted up my shirt and looked at my healing scars. "You made it this far. You can make it further." I took a deep breath and walked out. A janitor and Nash were standing out side the door and it looked like the janitor was gonna unlock the door. "Jewels! Are you okay?" Nash yelled the hugged me tighter then ever. "Yeah I'm okay" he tried to let go. But I didn't. So held on real tight. It started to hurt. But it felt good. "Are you OK to go back on stage? You don't have too," he asked "Yeah! My fans need me." I said. "Look at what is trending on Twitter!" I said trying not to cry. "Oh Jewels. It will be okay." He said "Look at Hayes' last tweet" I said he looked at his phone "Don't listen to his bull shit excuses! Ya everything in that tweet is true! But you can't trust him anymore! He lied and cheated and- and - just promise me you won't forgive him right away! Please I don't want him to hurt you again! I hate to see you hurt!" He said then hugged me tight. He grabbed my hand "You ready?" He asked "Yeah!" I said smiling. We went by the stage, he stopped me and gestured for Cam to come over, Cam ran over real fast and hugged me real tight "I love you! We love you so much! Never forget that!" Cam said then Nash whispered something in his ear. Cam smiled at me then went back on stage. "Okay you guys! Jewels is real sad! And we need to work as a team to make her happy! On 3 yell 'WE LOVE JEWELS!!' Okay? One, t-" they cut him off "WE LOVE JEWELS! WE LOVE JEWELS" They kept chanting it till I walked on stage. They screamed loud as ever. I had a smile from ear to ear. I didn't even want to look at Hayes. So I just went over to Cam and hugged him. Taylor ran up from behind me and picked me up and spun me around. I laughed. Then we all did the lip gloss dance. I made a vine. A happy vine. I didn't show I was dead in side. I was dead with out Hayes. But he- he - he cheated. What was I supposed to do? I wanted to go back. But he wouldn't respect me as much. After the show we were all smiling even Hayes and I. But I was still dead inside. I am good at hiding my pain. "You guys want to go to the beach!?" Cam yelled "Yeah!" I'll race you guys! Who ever is down stairs 1st wins" I yelled and ran into the elevator and pushed the shut door button. Hayes made it in the door. It was really awkward. We both just stood there. He looked at me but I didn't look at him. Seeing his face made me want to puke. The doors opened I ran out pushing all the buttons so he was stuck. I ran to my hotel room "Yes!" No one had made it there yet. I ran in the bath room and changed into my bikini. I looked in the mirror and saw that you could see my scares. "Maybe they Won't notice. Hopefully they won't notice." I ran out the door and to the elevator and across the Lobby to the door. "Yes! I won!" Then Nash ran out, then Cam then Carter then Taylor then Hayes. "Let's go!" I said. They didn't move "Jewels? Are you okay?" Cam asked  "Yeah why?" I asked smiled trying to hide the pain. "Your stomach!" Hayes said I looked down and saw that my scars were really red. I put my hand over them "oh" I laughed "That's nothing!" I said and walked on to the beach. Taylor grabbed my arm "what happened?" He asked "I used to cut! Okay! I am 19 days clean! And you guys are helping me a lot! I mean a LOT! But I don't like to talk about it, and I don't like people to know. So can I borrow one of you shirts?" I asked. They all took there shirts off and handed them to me "Well DAMN! I only need one!" I said and laughed "But Hayes' will probably fit me the best." I handed back the others and put on Hayes' shirt. I was a little big but I didn't care. I dropped my stuff and ran into the water, Hayes ran in after me and tackled me I laughed then remembered he cheated on me. I pulled away and walked back on shore. Nash picked me up and ran back into the water with me."STOP!" I yelled and laughed. We threw me into the water and then ran away from me. I walked back onto the shore again then some girls walked up to me "Did Hayes really cheat on you?" One asked "Yeah" I responded. She hugged me "I bought meet'n'greet tickets to tell you how you saved my life and how I am 37 days clean because of you! I kept thinking man I need a hug form Jewels right now but in reality you need a hug from us!" She said "Can you guys promise to keep a secret like you can't tell anyone! Anyone at all!" I said "Yeah! Oh course!" The 2 girls said in unison. I lifted my shirt to show them my scars. "Oh my gosh!" She hugged me again. "Stay strong!!! We love you!!! Never! Ever forget that!" She said  "I know! That's why I am 19 days clean!" I said hugging her back as tight as I could "Stay Strong!" She said "You too! Hey can I take some pics w/You guys for IG, twitter, Snapchat, etc.?" I asked pulling out my phone "Yeah!" They said in unison I took some selfies then I invited them to hang with us. They did. Before we went over by the boys, I gave them my number and told them that if she ever needed ANYTHING at all to call. One of them hugged me and gave me her number and said the same.

Then we walked over to they guys. "Who is this?" Hayes asked "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS ASS HOLE!" One of the girls said "HEY STOP!! THAT'S NOT COOL!" I yelled "Sorry!" She said "No tell Hayes that!" I said "Sorry Hayes" she said "No. Don't be. You're right. I'm an ass hole who lost his angel. And I'll never get her back and it eats me away inside and I never deserved her in the 1st place." He said "You really think saying romantic crap like that will win me back? Cause it won't! You broke my heart! I am not like some fan girl who will do anything to be with you! I actually cared about you! And you stabbed me in the back! You stole my heart then slammed it on the ground and shot it with a pistol 5 times. Then you just watch me try to fix it instead of helping fix what you destroyed! No! No. No. I am worth more than that Hayes! Who wants to go with me to get some froyo?" I asked before walking away. "I'm gonna go back to the hotel. Okay?" Hayes said "No! You stay! Have a good time! I'm leaving you can have fun don't let me get in the way!" I said and picked up my stuff and walked away as fast as I could so they couldn't stop me. The girls followed me. I heard Nash say "You're a real Dick you know that. Ugh. She is-" I couldn't hear the rest. I walked past the froyo place and to the hotel. "Umm, do you want us to leave?" A girl said "No! Of course not! Come on! Or are you not allowed to come to my hotel room?" I asked "No We can." She said "This way" I said & gestured towards the elevator. They followed me to our (Cam's, Taylor's, Carter's and mine) room. I sat on my bed "Shut the door please?" I asked the girl "So what are your names?" "Oh I'm Stephanie!" The brunette said "And I'm Stacy" the red head said. "I love your names!" So what do you guys wanna do that involves sitting or laying down?" I asked "Do you have Netflix?" Stacy asked "Yaassss!" I said "Zaym girl you a fan girl at heart!" Stephanie said "Psht! Once a fan girl always a fan girl" I said we all laughed they sat next to me on my bed and we watched switched at birth. I checked my Twitter and so many people changed their name to 'Stay Strong Jewels' I was so happy then I saw all the pictures of Hayes and that girl and started to cry. "Jewels!" She said and hugged me. I burred my face into her shoulder. Nash bursted in the door "WE CAN'T FIND HAYES!" He yelled "WHAT HAPPENED?!" I asked jumping up from the bed and out the door. "I told him he was a dick and that he didn't deserve you back and he wasn't going to get you back and he ran off in tears!" He said "Jewels I'm scared!" He cried as we ran down the hall, Stephanie and Stacy followed. "Let's all split up! I'll look around the beach you guys look other places!" I said and ran to the beach, I was still in tears. Even more now that Hayes was missing. I was scared. I saw a boy in the distance kicking sand. He had brown hair. It was cut like Hayes'. I ran over as fast as I could. It was Hayes. "Oh my gosh!" I ran over and hugged him. I guess I tackled him cause we both fell and laughed. I landed on top of him. Our eyes met. I didn't realize that I was on top of him until I stopped laughing. He was smiling. I pushed myself off and then continued laughing. He seemed happy. Then I looked into his eyes and they were red and puffy. I could tell he had been crying but I wasn't going to say anything. We laughed for about 5 minutes straight. I was genuinely happy. "I really feel like shit. You know that?" He said "I expect nothing less" I responded  he laughed "I'm serious! I was an ass. I hurt you. And all you do is try and make people happy. And I just broke your heart. I really will do anything to make you happy again. Anything!" He said. I took a deep breath "But I was never happy." "But- but- you seemed so happy!" He said "Ya. I'm good at hiding my pain. No one knows I used to cut. Just you guys." I said then we just looked at the ocean. I got a text from Nash it said "Hey I see you and Hayes. Can we come over or.... What?" "No. Wait we are talking and I need this. I'll text you when we are done okay?" I replied. "K" he responded. We talk for hours but it felt like minutes. I had a good time talking to him. He wouldn't stop saying sorry and hugging me. The sun was setting. "We should head back to the hotel" I said and got up. "NO! I wanna watch the sunset with you!" He grabbed my hand and yanked me down on top of him. I didn't jump off this time. I rolled over and rested my head on his lap and face the sunset. He just ran his fingers through my hair. And took a deep breath. Almost like he was relieved. Relieved to have me right there next to him. I think. I hope so
