We all sat down, because I was undetermined I sat with the Hermes Cabin, next to Travis, it was weird that I could possibly be dating my brother but I can't see myself as a Hermes daughter. Will sat with the Apollo kids, and I think I saw Grover and Juniper somewhere. I was looking around, I could tell that some relationships were not even going to last the night. I looked over at Will, he was signaling the signal for when I was glowing. I noticed too late. "Hey, why are you glowing princess sparkle?" It was coming over from where the Aphrodite kids were, how I knew this: the girl who said that was all dressed up in makeup, like in that Ninjago episode where Daryth gave Nya that one makeover. But besides that lets get back to her. Will stood up "Hey may I advise you NOT to call her princess!" "Aww, Mr. Sunshine got a GIRLFRIEND!" I stood up this time." HEY, we aren't a thing, and I'm off the market! And NOBODY calls him Mr.Sunshine but me!" There were some "oh dangs" in the crowd.

"Um excuse me!" The girl said. "NO DREW!" Will said, "We will not excuse you!" "Will I can handle this," I blurted " Can I ask you a question, what was it Drew? Okay Drew when was the last time you have been loved by someone, not for your looks but what's in the inside, let me guess... never." Her face went bright red. "The only thing you know about love is ... well nothing! You think you can find love by hiding yourself with a mask of makeup, well news flash honey, you can't!" The whole camp had opened there mouth. "Oh you think your so special! Well if your so special, why haven't your parent claimed you! Also why aren't you going on a quest!" Drew said.Then she turned white and looked as if I was holding a human liver, which I have done before, hey the dog gave it to me?!! Got a problem! Then I saw a pink light floating above my head. Travis looked at me "You're a daughter of Aphrodite!? But what about the blessing?" "What blessing?" I asked. "The blessing of Aphrodite! The one that makes us all pretty! Guess we know who's NOT moms favorite!" "Well," I said" You we're wrong about one thing!" "What's that?" She said. "That I wasn't claimed, well now I am !" She made one of those pathetic little pouty faces. Chiron came up behind me "And Drew you were wrong about another thing, Alex is going on a quest"What I would've liked to happen was she would faint or bow down to me but instead she got really red and stormed off.

Later after the campfire we all walked to our cabins, Travis grabbed my hand and pulled me back behind the Aphrodite cabin, "What's the deal Travis?" I asked, "You can't go on a quest Alex!" "Why not!" I said "I don't think.." "You don't think I'm ready! You think cause I'm new to this or cause I'm a girl or smaller then most 15 year olds that I can't do this!" "Yes Alex I do!" He said."WHAT KIND of A BoY friend are you!" I said, my voice now cracking, my eyes welling up with tears. "The kind that cares!" "Yeah but you don't seem to trust me! "Okay," I told him "I will!" The. I walked over to the tree, sat down and dozed off.

I slept and then I had a dream, I was still sitting down at the bottom of the tree and a women walked over to me, she kept changing forms,"Mom?" I asked, " Hello Rose!" "Don't call me that!" I said, "Fine but why must you go by Alex! Such a-" " I get it you don't like the name, but I do!" "Whatever I don't have long to talk! Zeus will be wanting me back soon but I wanted to give you a hint about your prophecy! Here," she handed me a paper. "Don't worry about it until tomorrow, and I would never forget about you, your blessing is never ending, your a metaphorpasis Alex. It is as rare as Hephaestus power of fire! Which I sense on you.. which is strange, but never mind! Good luck my child and the prophecy, I normally wouldn't try to tell you this but love is love and no prophecy can change that. Now wake!" I woke with a start, the sun was barely up. I could see the golden chariot forming to a plane before my eyes. Today was a new start!
