Passing Out and Planes Wait Grover Has Goat Legs!•Chapter 2

I woke up in, what looked like a hospital room. It was a familiar sight. Will was sitting at the foot of the bed stirring a drink and cutting squares of what looked like little cakes. He looked up and saw me, he lunges forward and gave me a rib crushing hug. "Have I been here before?" I asked. "Uh.." Will gave a nervous expression. " Must be reminding you of the COMPLETLY OTHER hospital room that you were in!" I would have believed it, me and Will met when I was sent to a hospital after a bear attacked me. I shuddered, that memory was one of my worst, if only...only he had helped! But I could tell when Will was lying, "So this is were we met, I came to camp before I even knew I was a demigod, and let me guess that's how I knew the camps name!" "Yeah! And a bear didn't attack you, a hellhound did!"

Then a boy with black shaggy hair, a skeleton shirt, and an aviator jacket came walking in. He and Will talked in quiet so I couldn't hear but I could read there emotions, that's when the boy looked at me and jumped back. "Are you okay? You're-" "Glowing? Yeah that's Alex, she lights an aura when she reads emotions or feels them." "Ok so then she-" "knows!? Yeah! You can trust her though!" "Can I?" I'll get you a camp shirt and some pants! Are 5 regular mom jeans okay with you?" "As long as they come with a flannel shirt, yeah! And a prefably green flannel!" "No problemo" and Will left. He came back with the clothes and a green flannel shirt! Perfect! I changed and Will lead me out through the doors of the hospital room.

When I got outside Grover ran up to me and gave me a hug, when I stepped away I realized that Grover didn't have human legs, he had goat legs! "Woah," I said "I mean I knew you were cool but not goat legs cool, so does that mean you're a saytar? Or like what?" "Oh I'm a saytar all right and anyway Alex, you look great! Almost like a child of Aphrodite! Not that that means anything, anyway I'm going to see my girlfriend Juniper! She will KILL me if she doesn't see me!" And he ran off to the forest. "Juniper and Grover will work out!" I said completely unaware that my aura was glowing again! "Uh Alex," Will said, "You're uh... glowing!?" "Oh!" I said then I cut it off.
