a new beginning (on a break)

Chapter 2

I get a text from my best friend Lisa.

Lisa: i'm outside cmon we're late

Y/N: i'll be out in a sec :)

You quickly grabbed your bag and headed out the door. Not long after you get into lisa's car.

Ahh lisa. where do I even start, she's my best friend. She's always been there ever since we were 9 years old. We were in the same class but only started talking after we met each other at the park. She knows what goes on in my life with my dad, but she can't really do much about it. I don't think anyone can. Of course she's always there when I need to talk to someone and just let out my feelings. There's not one single secret that we keep from each other. We could write books about each other's whole lives because that's just how close we are. And words can't
explain how important she is to me.

"Someone looks cute today" she says slightly chuckling.
"I just wanted to look somewhat decent" i said back
"and why's that?" she asks
"jus feeling like it, good vibes ya know."
"pshh, you and your vibes"
We just listened to music on the radio for the rest of the ride to school.
simple but somehow still fun, sometimes that's all you need if it's with the right person.

when we got to school we were greeted by our other best friend jennie and her boyfriend kai. (a/n ehehe)

I wasn't too keen on love, i mean i've been in many relationships but they weren't serious at all, they've never even lasted more than a month and i didn't have feelings towards any of them, sure i guess some of them were nice and sweet but i just didn't like them, and i don't think i will ever find the one that i actually love with all my heart, but i don't really care. Dating isn't the most important thing for me. Although I say all these things, i do have faith in jennie and kai. they started dating a couple months ago and they bring out the best in each other. it makes me happy to see them happy.

We all walked inside the school together, since we are all in the same class. First period is math ugh.
We got inside class early and took our seats to make sure we sat close to each other.
as time passed by, more people started coming in and then the lesson started about 15 minutes later.

kai: Lisa you owe me $5
Lisa: They'll be here just wait, i'm not giving you shit
Jennie: I don't think they're coming they're always late
Y/n: well what do you expect it's them, they only care about girls and parties and popularity.
Kai: true but they're our friends, they need to start getting their shit together if they actually want to graduate next year..

About 12 minutes later the door opened and two boys walked in. Our teacher turned to see who it was and her head practically blew off, she was furious.
