The man felt his body coming back to life... His body tired and his head full of pain. A throbbing kind of pain. He tried to open his eyes. As he lifted the skin, his eyes felt sore. His eyes telling him to leave them alone and let them rest. But he forced them open as much as he could. His vision was blurry and fuzzy. He closed his eyes and reopened them again. It made his vision a bit clear than before, but his eyes were too tired and screamed at him to close them. Next thing on his mind was to attempt to stand on his feet. He tried to get up, but sharp pain seared through his brain. He fell back to the ground writhing in pain. Waiting, the pain dissipated slowly until it went back to it's normal throbbing. His body felt a rush of blood surging inside. He attempted to reopen his eyes again, and his vision was clear.

The man was in a deserted street and it looked like a wrecked ghost town. Grey fog covered his sight at a long distance. The moon of the dark night dimly lit the fog and street. Being in this environment gave him some chills. He lifted his head slowly and looked at his body. There was no blood nor injury that he could see, but he can feel bruises on his chest and side. Thinking bout it, he probably got hit by a car, which explains his huge headache. He looked around, and there was bits of trash and debris everywhere. A near by grocery store has its huge front glass window smashed in pieces. It was an empty street. No one walking around. Cars were parked in the middle of the street too. And looking behind him was the car that probably hit him when he was conscious back then. A couple of cars still had their engines running. The low humming of the viehicles' engine was the only thing breaking the dead silence of this dark place. He doesn't even remember how he got here.

A soda-can rolled in the distance. The man turned to where he heard the sound. A figure from a distance was wondering about in a lazy manner. The man wanted to call for help. He urged his throat to work for him, but it was dry and hoarse. He pushed and used the rest of his strength to call for the shady figure to come to him.

"Help me." he whispered.

The person didn't hear him, as it just walked about.

He tried again, using as much of his lungs and muscle to create his words, "Help me."

The stranger seemed to have heard him. It just stood there listening to where the voice came from.

The man was excited now. He repeated again, a bit more stronger, "Help me."

The shady person heard it. It started walking toward him.

"Help me." in an open voice.

The figure gained momentum and walked fast.

"Help me!" the man yelled.

And the figure was coming to his aid at a running pace.

The man smiled that he got help. He closed his eyes and reopened them. The figure was getting closer. He could see the person's outline getting closer and closer. But… Something was wrong... the stranger was running in an awkwardly manner. It was getting closer and closer. Before he knows it, it gave a horrifying, demonic, inhuman, scream. His heart pounded. It wasn't a man.

The man tried to craw away, but his head and body gave him so much pain. It got closer and closer, faster and faster. He need to get away, now. Ignoring the screaming pain, he used his hands and arms to crawl away. Then he turned around and saw the clear image of the evil horrible creature. It was a body of a man, but of a dead and decaying corpse. The deadman's clothes were tattered and ripped. It's mouth was opening and closing repeatedly, making sounds with it's teeth.  The man tried to crawl away from it, but he was too slow. The creature's eyes glowed yellow in the darkness of the fog and the shadows of the moon light. The man tried to get up to run away, but it was too late. The creature descended upon the man and bit him. It's teeth tore into his flesh. The man never felt such pain. It is eating him alive. The blood from his veins squirted out from his neck as the nightmare ripped flesh off his throat. The man lost his consciousness once more from the pain and felt the creature eating him slowly...
