Chapter 6• New Friend

Momo and Ji Woo greeted Jihyo and Jungkook and bowed. Mrs Park, Jeannie, sent all of them on their way. Jihyo showing Momo her room and Jungkook showing Ji Woo her room. Momo and Jihyo are both the same age and Jungkook was only one year older than Momo so they were pretty close. And Ji Woo discovered on her little ease dropping trip that her and Jungkook would be in the same class but Ji Woo won't go to the same school as him which she wasn't fussed about, they only met. Ji Woo stands staring at the large walls when she gets interrupted.

Jungkook: are you coming..?

Ji Woo: oh yea sure.

Her and Jungkook both start to make their way to Ji Woo's temporary room. She realised how big the house she was standing in was, it was a LOT bigger than her house back in America.

Ji Woo: wowww this house.... it's sooo big!!

Jungkook: why? Do you not have a big house?

The young kids start discussing all the rooms in the house trying their best not to miss out a single one. Though surprisingly they didn't make it a debate or a competition it was just a normal conversation, and Ji Woo somehow knew she already liked Jungkook, she knew they would be great friends.

Ji Woo: woww how do you not get lost in here?

Jungkook: you get used to your new home.

As Jungkook finishes his sentence he opens up a door to reveal Ji Woo's room. Ji Woo just simply stares at it for a while and Jungkook just stands there looking at her face, a bit confused.

Ji Woo suddenly shouts "WOW, ITS SO AMAZING, LOOK AT THE MASSIVE BED AND LIGHTS!!"
Which startled Jungkook a little and made him flinch back.

"Yea it's pretty amazing" he replied as he followed you into the room.

Ji Woo and Jungkook played for hours and hours. They played with some of the toys, had a pillow fight which caused a lamp to break but of course no one knows how that happened. They done a lot and Ji Woo and Jungkook's relationship slowly started getting better and they began to know each other a bit more. Well at least their favourite games.
Pen in hand the both of them walk slowly to the wall giving each other a little look and giggle before leaning their hand in, of course it wouldn't be at all a bad idea to go threw with their plan, well that's until someone knocks the door and the children instantly react throwing the pens, from their hands, to the other side of the room. "Sir, ma'am, your dinner has been served, come along now"
The children look at her with a guilty look on their faces and walk out the room. They are greeted when they get to the table and then take their places at the table.
"Thank you so much for having us here and welcoming us here as nicely as you all have" Momo spoke looking at Mr and Mrs Jeon. Mrs Jeon smile let out a smile and looked up at Momo.
"It's our pleasure, your father helped us out before so now it's our turn to say thank you to him"
Mr Jeon spoke making everyone at the table look at him, making him feel uncomfortable. Jungkook and Ji Woo both finished eating their courses and leave to play in the room again. The young ones get to the room and start to play again thinking of other mischievous things to do. Sadly, they were interrupted, again, but this time it was Mrs Jeon.
"Hello kids how are you both?" She asked looking at their guilty faces which made her suspicious. Starting to walk around the room, Mrs Jeon notices the lamp that was broken.
"We are both g-good, just playing" Jungkook replied to her, not making eye contact.
"What happened to the lamp?" His mother replied raising her eyebrow.
The kids both looked to the ground, Ji Woo not daring to look or say a word to Mrs Jeon which made her feel bad because Jungkook was getting all the pressure put on him.
"It's okay guys I'm not mad at you both, though if your going to hide something you have to learn to hide it better, Jungkook take it down stairs and put it on the counter I'll deal with it later" Mrs Jeon said holding the broken lamp out for him to take down.
"But mother could you please take it down because I'm playing with Ji Woo and I will forget the game" Jungkook replied and in return Mrs Jeon nodded and then left the room with a smile, she was glad Jungkook was settled.

The Jeon family had went threw a lot financially and emotionally. Jungkook suffered the loss of his older sister that committed suicide though in time of the struggle Ji Woo's father helped them and gave them money to provide and offered a job which Mr Jeon is now the owner of. Though that was the past and they are slowly getting threw it. Both family's have great trauma in common but it's the situations that make it different and how each of them individually are handling it.

After three hours or so Jungkook and Ji Woo was exhausted. Ji Woo climbed up into her bed and Jungkook said goodnight to her closing the door behind him.

Ji Woo lay in bed falling asleep to the thought of her father. Was he okay? How is his injury? Has he ate?
She thought about a lot and dreamed of him that night. Even though she seemed to forget about him while being with Jungkook, deep down, she was always thinking of him but only now, that she is alone, she is letting all the worries out. Like most people do at night, when they don't want anyone to know.
