A/N: You wear lin kuei soldier armor.

Y/N's POV

I watched as grand master Sub-Zero talked to Scorpion. They were trying to find a way to peacefully get along and so far it appeared to be going well. I was about to leave when an ice ball came out at Scorpion. I jerked around and saw Frost marching up to them.

(Frost): We will not have peace Scorpion!

Scorpion fought her off then turned on sub-zero. As they began to fight Frost sat up and went to rise. I ran in front of her as she turned to scorpion and sub-zero.

(Y/N): Stop Frost this isn't a matter that concerns you.

Frost stared at me then laughed. 

(Frost): You are just a grunt, don't speak to your superiors that way. 

She tried to walk past but I drew my sword and pointed it at her throat. She looked at it in disbelief then turned on me.

(Frost): If you wish for death then let me grant it to you.

I squared my feet. 

(Y/N): I don't think you can.

A voice above us yelled fight and Frost attacked. She tried to strike me but I ducked under and swiped her feet out from under her. She fell and I used ice slide to knock her back. She jumped up just in time to get an ice ball to the face. I jumped up and slammed my fists down on her head throwing her in the air where I continued to combine kicks and punches to make one nasty combo. Once she finally hit the ground she stayed down for a moment then rose and the voice said round two. Frost looked more cautious this time.

(Frost): You're stronger then I thought.

I simply froze my arms then broke them free. 

The voice yelled fight and we ran at each other again. This time she blocked my first attack and grabbed me when I tried to back away. After she slammed me to the ground she slid into me then threw an ice clone at me as I stood. I stumbled back and she unleashed a combo that dropped me again. I stood shook off and raised my fists. The voice called again. 

(Voice): Final round. FIGHT!

We ran at each other and traded blows. Frost was faster then me and her hits landed. I felt my strength wane but as her next punch came I used ice counter and when she hit me she froze. I wasted no time slamming her with a combo that ended the fight as my foot introduced itself to her temple. She collapsed then stood and wavered off balance and dazed. 

(Voice): FINISH HER

I didn't want to kill her so I just kicked her one more time and she fell. I nodded and walked away. However as I walked up the steps of the temple I heard a yell and saw a battered Frost run for scorpion, only to be frozen by sub-zero. I turned and as Scorpion and Sub-Zero stopped talking and walked inside Sub-Zero told me to take Frost to the dungeon.

I sighed but nodded and went over to the still frozen Frost. Picking her up I carried her statue down a flight of stairs and locked it in a cell. I stood as guard waiting for the grand master when I heard cracking behind me. I turned to see frost break free of the ice. She glared at me. 

(Frost): You weakened me and I couldn't finish Scorpion!

I glared at her. 

(Y/N): I saved your life.

(Frost): You speak nonsense.

I grinned under my mask.

(Y/N): Well if a soldier like me beat you what do you think would have happened with Scorpion?

Frost glared but then seemed to think it through. She turned pale as the image of what could have happened sank in. 

(Frost): You saved my life.

I frowned.

(Y/N): Not yet.

As I said that I heard grand master stomping down. He walked into the dungeon. I bowed and he nodded as he passed. I stood in front of Frost and glared through the bars. 

(Sub): Frost, can you explain yourself?

Frost glared back then turned her back on him.

(Frost): You are weak and allow that Shirai ryu dog to walk in our temple.

Sub zero clenched a fist.

(Sub): I make peace you foolish girl. 

Sub-Zero made an ice sword and I felt myself pale.

(Sub): I cannot have such insubordination in my clan.

He went to enter the cell when I cleared my throat. 

(Y/N): If I could grand master?

He looked at me with an annoyed look on his face.

(Sub): Make it quick.

(Y/N): It would be a waste to kill someone with her skill, perhaps I can help her understand her place in the clan instead.

Frost went to protest but Sub-Zero held up his hand.

(Sub): You are the one who stalled Frost yes?

I nodded and he seemed to contemplate for a moment. Finally he nodded. 

(Sub): Fine you may care for Frost, I will see if she is improved in a week. If she is not I will kill her.

With that he walked away. I let out a sigh and turned to Frost.

(Y/N): Now I have saved your life.

Frost nodded then gestured to the cell door. 

(Frost): Let me out then.

I opened the door but wasn't ready for the ice ball that Frost through. As my limbs froze Frost walked up.

(Frost): Grand Master will see me in a week and if you do as I say he will see improvement.

 I glared at her as she continued.

(Frost): Now I know you are thinking why should I do that? Well maybe because if you fail grand master won't kill just me. If you fail, you will have failed the clan and will also die.

I struggled to break free but it was futile. Frost stroked my face and smiled a sadistic smile.

(Frost): I've been waiting for someone like you to come along. 

She leaned in and kissed my frozen lips. 

(Frost): Now I'll have a toy to keep me entertained...
