(Y/N)'s POV

I swear I'm not scared to go to sleep. I'm just not tired.

I looked at my clock which helped remind me that one it was three in the morning, and two I was lying to myself.

This was the last time I read creepypasta this late at night.

I sighed. This was dumb, they were just stories I should just close my eyes and get over it.

For the first time that night I rolled away from the door to my room and closed my eyes. No sooner did I do that then I heard something slowly scratch my window. 

It's just a really long branch from a tree.

I jerked up in bed. 

(Y/N): "I DON'T HAVE A TREE BY MY WINDOW"

I looked around my dark room the only light coming from my computer on the desk and saw...nothing.

(Y/N):Fucking nerves...I should get a drink to calm down.

I swung my legs over the edge of my bed and was about to get up when my closet door slowly opened.

(Y/N): Hello?

I was really hoping that the wind had a hand in that but it that hope died when a voice called back. It was hard to hear just a whisper but the pure white hand that crept out of the shadows confirmed I wasn't hearing things.

(???): Hello there my prince.

I glanced towards my door thinking maybe I could run but I wasn't even standing. I'd never make it.

(Y/N): Can I know  what you're doing in my closet? 

The whisper came back and as it did an arm followed the hand.

(???): I like to live up to the stereotype for a killer I suppose.

I looked around my room trying to think of anything that might get me out of this. Nothing stood out so I tried to keep stalling. 

(Y/N): Killer? So that means I'm your target?

The person in the closet let out a laugh still barely audible. 

(???): I don't really know...you were going to be my target but...I already killed someone today...

With that, half of their body slid out to reveal a girl in a purple hoodie covered in blood. She was very pale and the one eye I could see was bloodshot and yellowish. It became obvious why her eye was so weird looking after I looked closer, she had no eyelids. I also saw scars that forced her mouth into a constant smile, kinda like the joker.

(Y/N): Who's blood is that?

The girl looked down and her smile shrank as much as it could. Then she pulled out something from her hoodie pocket. It was a knife was a pale hand still on the handle. 

(???): My past prince...

She pulled the hand off the knife and tossed it lazily aside. Without thinking I let my attention fall to the hand on the floor. I didn't even see the girl move but she went from the closet to hovering over me knife raised. 

(Y/N): Wait please!

(???): I won't kill you...I need a new prince after all...but I need to make you as perfect as my other prince was...

With that she grabbed my throat and forced me down. She raised the knife and put it to the corner of mouth. I shook my head and tried to squirm free. 

The person paused.

(???): I never did introduce myself did I? Well I'm Nina, nice to meet you.

With that she sliced my cheek open, I screamed in pain and as I did she did the same to the other cheek then she took out a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a lighter. With a little giggle she doused me in rubbing alcohol and lit it on fire. 

I rolled around trying to put myself out. Nina's voice in the background was almost kind. 

(Nina): I know it hurts but we'll be together soon... 

With that I collapsed and my vision went black.
