When Taehyung was 11, he got his first role in a drama.
It was a very minor one - he played a friend of one of the main characters, but it was a rather short drama and it mostly revolved around that other child's family, so Taehyung didn't have many scenes or lines.
But Taheyung had loved the feeling of being on set, of being surrounded by some many people not just for a few hours, but to actually have the chance to get to know them better and to bond with them.
It was much different than being a model and Taehyung liked that too, but his heart thumped loudly in his chest whenever he had to film a scene, modeling was exciting - yes.
But was it Taehyung's dream?
Not really.
Being an actor however... that actually made Taehyung believe that all the sacrifices would be worth it.
Taehyung was used to being sleep-deprived, sometimes he had to travel long distances for photoshots that had to start at dawn and he loved posing in front of the camera, his mother never pressured him and left him with a choice - he took part only in photoshoots that he chose.
But when he got his second role in a drama - this time he played the younger version of the main character, Taehyung just felt alive and free. It was weird indeed and he was still too young to realize that acting was his calling, but he loved it... he loved it with his whole being.
Modeling has always been fun and he got praised all the time, be it for his looks or professionalism, but still... something was missing.
That something just came along with acting.
Taehyung did not simply act.
He always became one with his character, he saw everything through the character's eyes, his emotions, his feelings, he connected to them and thus... his performance always touched hearts.
His talent did not stay unnoticed for long and when he was 13 he got his first main role in a movie. The project itself was quite ambitious - the story was about a young boy who got kidnapped by a group of men who dealt with human traffic.
The movie was filled with many tear-jerking moments, action, breathtaking scenes and plot twists. The audience was compelled by Taehyung's charisma and believable performance and many felt bad for one of the boy's kidnappers who had decided to help Taehyung escape, but in the end lost his life, because of his betrayal to his men.
The next few years passed in a flash due to Taehyung's busy schedule and fast-paced life. He started accepting less model offers and more acting ones, he got lots of interviews in tv shows and magazines and he still attended school whenever he could, because education was important to him.
Appearing at school always caused a ruckus though, because most of the students knew who he was. Some just quietly stared at him, others tried to talk to him or even to get signs. It was exhausting at times, but it was a part of his life.
