A/N Second chapter, YAY! Please no judgement with this story, I've already written this ahead of time and....weird things happen. That's all I have to say right now. Please enjoy. Bye for now~

I hear a tapping on my door, it's soft but firm, it's enough to cancel my train of thought. I stand up from my wooden chair, smoothing the folds in my black top. I notice a cup of tea in front of me, I must of made it and forgot all about it, the once warm fluid was now a still cold. I walk around the table and make my way down the small hallway.

I see a shadow creep under the wooden door. I continue to hear the tapping, I grab ahold of the steel handle and pull my door open. I glance up to see who was willing to annoy me. My eyes met a soft green gaze, I see messy brown hair and a tall body. Erwin, a popular blacksmith in our town was standing in front of me.

"Hello Naomi, how's the day treating you?"

I give him a skeptical look, this is going somewhere that will benefit him.

"Past days have been better, but it's good none the less." My reply makes him give a small smile. "Then can you help me with something? I promise it won't be like last time, I think you would actually enjoy it." I give him the same look, motioning him to continue.

"I would like you to test some of my recent creations, how 'bout it? Others will test it as well, think of it as training and an opportunity to show everyone what you can do." I step out in front of my door and close it. I stand in his shadow and give him a small smile. "It would be nice to have a little fun every now and then, so why not. But I'm not showing off." He gives a light chuckle at my comment.

"Of course, now follow me, it's in the square." He turns around and begins to leave, I lock the door and quickly follow after him. I pray that the commander has followed his schedule, if not I'm going to draw unwanted attention to myself. Erwin, please don't do what I think you did.

Erwin did it. I swear one day I will kill him with one of his creations.

The whole town has gathered to watch, as if it's some event. Erwin, you bastard. He has made a competition out of this. Many people are apart of it as well, and around five times as many have come to watch. "So, what do you think Naomi?" He gestures to the many weapons and participants all ready, waiting for the good to go. "Erwin, I swear, if is some scheme of yours to gain money or something..." He looks at me shocked and begins acting like the idiot he is. "How dare you think so low of me Naomi, I have been such a kind person to you and everyone here."

"Is that a yes or a no."

"No, I did this for pure fun. Besides even people from the slums have come to watch." At this remark, I glance along the crowd and realise that people from the slums are here, enjoying themselves and talking happily with the people in the town.

"Fine I will play your little game here. But I don't go easy on people." His face immediately lights up. "Thank you, okay, go with the others. Good luck, I'm placing my bets on you." He quickly runs off after making him comment.

That bastard, he is creating gamblers in the town. I shake my head at him, displeased with his intent, I turn toward the over competitors, all men, figured. I walk in their direction and stand right off onto the side, conversation is not needed right now. He put a lot of effort into the set up, I'll give him that. Weapons gleamed on the make shift wall and tables in the area the competitors wait in. He set up lengths of rope to form a large circle, the crowd is standing a good three meters from the edge, scattered sits marking their safe distance.

The crowd were talking to one another and and mingling, I see small children run off with other kids to play somewhere else, the town and slums people are mingling together, maybe that idiot had good intentions with this. I see the mayor of the town in the crowd also, standing right in front, chatting about who knows what. Unfortunately I also see Erwin gather up bets, he is such an idiot. He steps back from the crowd and steps in the middle of the ring. "Hello everyone, welcome to the event."

His voice booms and the crowd cheers, this will go on for a while. He introduces all of the competitors first, twenty one in total. Then he states the rules. No major damage can be done on an opponent, you must get them out of the ring or knock them down long enough, Erwin will declare if they can continue or not if injured or knocked down, and you can only use one weapon the whole event. I admit this will be interesting, but that doesn't mean what he is influencing is right.

"Alright let's start off with Caleb against Marco. Choose wisely boys, because remember, that's your only weapon." Erwin glances at the two men who walk up towards the wall of weaponry. Caleb was a young man with red hair, he lets his fingers hover over the weapons before selecting a short sword. Marco was a man taller then Erwin with pure blond hair and immediately picks up a spear. "Alright then, you have your weapons. Now step to opposite sides of the ring." They do just that, once in position and waiting for Erwin's command they study each other, trying to find a weakness. I have no doubt there is some sort of prize if you win this. I also have no doubt it is made by the bets of the towns people. "Now, BEGIN!" The crowd erupts with cheers as the tournament begins.
