Lead. Her body felt like lead. But then again, staying up till five will do that to you. Lucy could hear faint foot steps and sensed movement next to her bed. Peeling her eyes open, she forced herself to sit up slightly. Jiya was rummaging through her foot locker, obviously trying (and failing) to be quit. Turning around to grab her phone off her side table, she noticed Lucy half awake.

"Oh, morning. Sorry to wake you. I needed to grab some clothes." Jiya said. She looked cute with a messy ponytail, leggings, and what was obviously Rufus's hoodie.

"No, no, your fine." Lucy cleared her throat. "Have a good night with Rufus?"  Her voice was scratchy which she assumed was from last nights walk in the woods.

"Uh, yeah." Jiya nodded, her cheeks turning red. Trying to deflect she asked "I take it you didn't?"

"I had a good night, just didn't go to sleep till 5." Not wanting to give away her and Garcias excursion, Lucy focused on keeping a neutral face while she discreetly kicked an empty Pringle's can under her bed. "What time is it?"

"About nine. Christopher wants to meet with everyone later tonight. Something about intel on Rittenhouse."

"Okay. Is she not here now?" Lucy asked. Denice was not one to procrastinate and if there was a reason they were waiting to meet till tonight, she wanted to know why.

"Nope. Apparently her son had a school thing that she didn't want to miss. Not that there's any rush, there's pretty much nothing to do otherwise." Lucy nodded. She knew what Jiya meant. With Rittenhouse laying low, the bunker felt extremely small and boring. She was once again thankfully that Garcia and her had started to hang out.

"Do you know if the bathroom is open?" Lucy asked. A mental picture of her shower at home came to mind. All white tile with potted plants in the window. God she missed it. If there was one thing the bunker was lacking, it was good showers. But then again, at least its not 1754 with no plumbing.

"Yeah, I think everyone has already taken their turn. Mason even managed to only take an hour this morning." With six people sharing they had been forced to work out a shower schedule.

"Great." Mentally prepping for a cold shower, Lucy grabbed her clothes and headed out the door.

"Mmmffffmmmm." Slamming into someone's chest, she took in the smell of books and men's shampoo. Strong hands wrapped around her arms to steady her. Already dying from embarrassment, she looked up into caring green eyes. "Oh, Flynn..."

"Lucy! Are you okay?" Although concerned, he was desperately trying not to smile. She was impossibly cute with frizzy hair, an oversized sweat shirt, and what he was pretty sure was blanket creases still on her cheek.

"Yes. Sorry, just feeling the repercussions of last nights lack of sleep." Her voice was still groggy but she was very aware that they were standing only inches apart. His hands slid from her shoulders slipping into his pockets, the corner of his lips turning up into a knowing grin and she couldn't help but smile back.

"Late night reading professor?" He asked looking down at her, his eyes alight.

Before she could open her mouth to respond the bunker alarms started going off. All the worry that had momentary left Flynn's eyes came ruching back. Can we not have a moment of peace?!? I'm mean, sure we had last night but couldn't that have lasted just a bit longer? Just to see him smile and not feel like the world is on his shoulders, or mine for that mater. Sighing deeply they both headed in the direction of the Lifeboat to see when and where the Mothership had gone to. Jiya and Rufus were already at the commuters when they arrived. Wyatt came in after them, making his way to Rufus.
