So the photos above are in reference to Flynn and Lucy's clothes in the past. Also, all my history knowledge of Nellie Bly is via the internet so disclaimer if anything is incorrect¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"Lucy?"Flynn asked. Lucy looked ashen and weak from vomiting. He wanted to reach out and sooth the sick woman across from himself but wasn't sure how she'd react. He for one appreciated it when someone rubbed his back when sick. But he also had the distinct memory of Lorena telling him to "get the fuck out" when he attempted to do the same for her during morning sickness. He opted to play it safe, simply placing a hand on her knee. Lucy wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and looked up, taking in his now thoroughly ruined maroon suit.

"I'm- god, I'm so sorry." She mumbled, looking like she wanted to crawl in a hole and die of embarrassment.

"Lucy it's ok. I had to find a new suit anyway. Do you want help getting out of the Lifeboat? The fresh air might help." Rufus and Jiya had already disembarked, happy to let Flynn care for Lucy.

"Yeah, that's sounds good." She fumbled with her buckle as her hands were still shaking from throwing up.

"Would you like some help?" Flynn asked motioning to the harness. He distinctly remembered the Journal saying something about Wyatt always helping her with the buckle and didn't want to seem like he was trying to replace or copy him. If anything, he wanted to be the exact opposite of the man. Lucy fiddled with the harness a bit more before sighing in frustration and motioning for him to go ahead. Leaning forward Garcia deftly undid the locks and in one fluid motion, swooped Lucy into his arms and gently carried her out of the Lifeboat.

Once they came out of the ship, Rufus looked at Flynn confused as to why he was carrying Lucy. Flynn gave a light shrug as if it was an everyday day occurrence to bridal carry a former enemy from a time machine, and placed Lucy on the grass next to a tree. Riding himself of his jacket, he proceeded to scan the surrounding tree lines. It appeared they had landed in a secluded field and he was happy to note that it wasn't as cold as to be expected. Satisfied that they were in no immediate danger, he returned his focus on the team. Lucy seemed to be rambling apologies for be so sick this trip but was quickly tiring of all the attention.

"Yes I'm fine, no I don't think I'll throw up again, and no Rufus, I don't blame you. I had a late night that involved not enough sleep and way to many Pringle's and Swiss Rolls." She said before thinking.

Jiya narrowed her eyes and cocked her head. "I thought Mason ate all our Swiss Rolls." She responded.

"Yeah, and since when has Christopher bought anything name brand? The woman thinks Kroger is the only store in the west." Rufus said.

"Wait"  Jiya exclaimed "did you sneak out? And not tell us?!?" Obviously more upset at the idea that she'd missed out on a shopping trip than a breach in bunker security.

It was evident by the look in their eyes that neither of them were going to let this go and Lucy seemed to be grappling for a response. Flynn closed his eyes and pinched his nose, asking any deities out there to grant him patience with these kids (and Lucy for blowing the whole damn thing in less than 12 hours.) Deciding intimidation was their best bet, he opened his eyes and rose to his full height in a bid to look foreboding. By the look on Rufus's face, it had done the job, but before he could start his oral campaign, Lucy spoke up.

"How would you feel about all of season one and two of Next Generation on hard copy?" Lucy asked innocently. Any trace of hesitation had gone from her features. "Provided, you don't tell Denice or the others about this." She added with a small smile. Flynn couldn't stop his face from lighting up. When had she grabbed that? He hadn't seen it in the cart. And then there was the fact that she had the forethought to punches bribes. God, he loved her. He wasn't sure when that had happened, but it was evident to himself now. He loved her for the way she joked and insisted on having silence while watching a movie (the one time he did try to talk during The Big Sleep she gave him a look that would have put the fear of God into Stalin himself).  He loved the way she would snort while reading something funny and then quickly deny that she had when he mentioned it. He loved her for the way she was stubborn and willing to stand up to himself, Wyatt, hell, he was pretty sure she'd tell the Pope to fuck himself if he pissed her off.  And then there was the fact that she was down right gorgeous . With her raven hair, coffee eyes, and the way that when he hugged her, (an occurrence that didn't happen enough in his opinion) she was just the right size to place his chin on the top of her head. Jiyas squeal of approval woke him for his reprieve.
