Head, Leg, Tummy

As the sun set for dusk, the wind came barging in, throwing my hair off my neck. A rumble of thunder warned for an upcoming storm

I was startled by a roar from the skies and with that i hurriedly stood up and raced down the hill to get home before the heavens released their weeps down on us.

Gladly i made it home just before it started pouring.

Loud mumbles were heard on the other side of the door before i entered in.

"you ungrateful child you are going to polish all these bottles of beers like there were trophies!"

I open the door hesitantly and find Uncle Ottoya scolding at Faro.

I gasp.
"Uncle, why are you shouting at my brother like this!?"
Quickly running towards my baby brother to take him into my arms

"This careless little brat kicked over my bottle of beer, all of my money spilled unto the floor. Do you have any idea how much a bottle costs!" he says pointing his long finger at Faro.

Faro wraps his arms around me frightened at Uncle Ottoya's behaviour

I help Faro pick up the broken pieces of glass on the floor and wipe with a mop

" Just go to sleep already, you little brats annoy me" he says making a way for the door.

"I'm going to heaven, I mean the tavern" he says

He finally leaves and Faro lets go of me.

"Whats wrong with Uncle, Amare?" he asks with tears flowing down his face

I wipe the tears off his little face and pat the tip of his nose playfully.

"Don't worry about him, he's just a little drunk"

A little? The man couldn't even walk.

"Faro come let me put you to bed" I say before grabbing his little hand and walking down the passage to our bedroom.

"Amare" he says laying his head down onto his pillow

"Yes"

"Please tell me a story" he requests looking at me shuffling through my sheets on the bed next to his

"Okey then, lemme see... Mhmm lemme tell you about this one. Once upon a time there were 3 body parts called Tummy, Leg and Head"

He giggles.

"Tummy, Leg and Head's mother was going to the shops. As she left she warned them all, she said to Tummy : Don't laugh too much or you'll explode. She told Leg : Don't run to much you'll melt and she told Head : Don't think too much or you'll go insane"

Faro laughs so much he chokes

"So mother left and they decided to go play in the woods. Whilst in the woods Leg climbed up a tree and when he got to the top he saw something move, he looked closely and realized it was a snake, he jumped off and ran so much he melted. Tummy saw the whole scenario and started laughing so much he exploded, Head was left alone and he started to think about how he'd explain all this to mother, he went insane and the snake was terrified. It ran off.

"Did you enj.." before I finish my sentence I hear snores.

I blow out the candle and look out the window praising the stars. I know mom is one of them now
