why hello there.
i have your attention.
now, the ships 'lams'..

a lot of people have their opinions about it and you are entitled to your own opinion.
HOWEVER.
i shall state my opinion on it, and it will trigger most of the fandom.

i hate lams.
well, more like, it was ruined for me.
by the fandom.

the hamilton fandom is..
interesting, to say the least.
the one thing they LOVE to do though, is make john laurens a gay turtle boi.

this is not everyone.
the bisexual bird boi is equally as bad, but we are focusing on the turtle part only.

i honestly only liked lams because of the fanart and fanfics.
i never paid attention to the historical shit.
but now, i can't even stand looking at fanart.
i still read fanfics, though.
kinda.
just because some of it is actually good.
on my reading list (original account) i have a lot of lams, sadly.
yes, i used to be like this sad fandom.

i would remove it, but i am lazy.

anyways,,
i do not think john was a gay turtle boi whatsoever.
HE WAS A REAL PERSON, THAT KILLED PEOPLE.

some people need to realize that he is NOT soft. he murdered people. he was badass, and fought in a war.

he even had a wife!
i don't care if he married her out of pity. they still were married and had a child.

he barely replied to alexander's letters as well.
but, i'm not gonna focus on the historical stuff.

i just came here to say, the gay turtle is ruining this fandom.
it's inaccurate, and honestly frustrating.

for fucks sake, he didn't even like turtles that much.

alexander and john, are not a bad ship.
unfortunately, the fandom is changing my mindset of that.
