"It was so nice of y'all to stand us up yesterday" Sophie said to me as we stocked cds at work. I laughed and put the stack of Jodeci cds in their right spot

"We got sidetracked. My bad"

"Mhmmm, you mean yo got some dick"

I looked at her with a grin while wiggling my eyebrows and she laughed

"Aye y'all, we closing up shop at two today so we got bout 10 minutes" Three informed us as he walked from the back slapping his hands together

"Great! Then we don't have to worry bout Gracie's lil friend coming to pay her a visit" sky laughed and I rolled my eyes at her

"That lady is not my friend. And she needs to stop before I get a restraining order on her"

I've been meaning to tell Kentrell about April constantly popping up at my job. It's annoying and I wish she would just leave me alone and worry about her son's babymommas.

"Instead of playing nice with that bitch tell her how you feel" Bree told me and everybody looked at her

"What?"

"You can't just call nobody's momma a bitch girl" I said to Bree and she shrugged

"I meannnn"

"This girl" three muttered while shaking his head.

"Oh shit it's almost 2! I gotta call joe and remind him to feed bailey her next bottle at 2" sophie said as she started towards the back. Just as she walked off, the bell rung letting us know the door opened and baby joe walked in with bailey in his arm

"Sophie, get yo child!" Baby joe yelled, making her turn around

"I was just about to call you. And she's your child too"

"Not right now. Get her so I can clean my damn shirt"

"What's wrong with your shirt?" I asked as he reached bailey out to Sophie. When she grabbed her, a huge throw up spot stained baby joe's shirt. It looked very fresh too

" damn" three chuckled and baby joe frowned up his face before walking off behind the counter, going to the back like he works here

"Ooh Gracie" Sky called my name out, looking out the door. I turned and looked at her

"What?"

"Why Kentrell out here talking to April"

"Huh?" I quickly sat the box of cds down and headed over to the door. I could see Kentrell and April standing over by her car. He stood up straight with his arms crossed while April spoke to him. Based off the look on both of their faces, I could tell it wasn't a pleasant conversation so I walked out the door and they both immediately looked at me

"Gracie" April called out my name "if you felt some type of way about me coming to try and talk to you, why didn't you just say something?"

"I ain't say she felt some type of way" Kentrell immediately responded as I stood by his side "I said I feel some type of way about it. Y'all ain't got no reason to speak"

"I've known Gracie for years! Her and my son were happily in love so she is technically apart of my family, therefore I have MORE than enough reasons to talk to her"

"Lady fuck how many years you known her" he responded and I grabbed his arm, not wanting to laugh but how he said that was hilarious just now

"Kentrell, chill"

"Nah. You ain't gone say shit so I will" he told me before looking at her again "you talking bout how long you known her and how in love she was with yo son, but tell me this. How long you knew he was cheating on her AND got another bitch pregnant?"

"Don't disrespect my grandchildren's mothers like that" April said in a stern voice and I just looked at her

"Bet you knew they whole relationship that he was cheating on her. And now you tryina be all buddy buddy with her. Well guess what, you ain't allowed to talk to her nomo. I'm ending this shit NOW. If you want some friends you better talk to that boy babymommas"

April had a shocked look on her face. She then glanced over at me, I guess waiting on me to say something but I'm not.

"Gracie, are you really gonna let your little boyfriend talk to me like that?"

I shrugged and grabbed his hand, pulling him behind me as I headed back into the store "Bye April"

She sighed and headed to her car while we entered the store. Baby joe and three both walked from the back of the store and instead of the stained shirt he wore when he first got here, her wore one of our Ray's Music Store shirts with a frown on his face. Kentrell stopped walking and burst into laughter

"Nigga you work here now?"

"Fuck you" baby joe threw up his middle finger

"You know damn well baby joe ain't working here. I did get Kd on out here though. He start next week" three told us and I shook my head

"Now you know good and well KD don't need to be working here"

"Forreal" Sophie scrunched up her face as she fed bailey a bottle "ain't no telling what he could fuck up here"

"Y'all gone leave my boy alone" Kentrell defended Kd and looked at his watch "listen. It's pass two o'clock now so I'm bout to kidnap my girl and we bout to leave y'all asses"

"You do know that's a crime right?" I asked and he smacked his lips, grabbing my hand

"Just bring yo ass"

"Hold on. I gotta get my stuff from the back first"

Kentrell released my hand and I laughed, going to the back of the store to get my purse

"I still can't believe Selena's dead. I feel like a part of me died" Sophie sighed as she painted her toenails. Every since Selena died back in March, you would've thought that she was related to Sophie because that's how she acts about it.

Bree stayed the night at the house, baby joe was gone with the boys and my momma was hogging Bailey in her room so we decided to just have a girls night. Hopefully my momma will give bailey back and she can join us for a baby mani pedi

"I'm surprised you ain't name Bailey Selena" Bree said to Sophie as she sat over in the mirror tying her flat wrap with a headscarf.

Sophie shook her head, folding a magazine and started fanning the wet polish on her toes

"I tried but you know heartless Joe. He didn't give a fuck. He even watched over me as I filled out her birth certificate, just to make sure I didn't sneak Selena on there. But like I told him, how would he feel if his favorite singer died"

"I wouldn't know how to act if something would've happened to somebody in TLC. Especially left eye" I joined in the conversation, putting the picture that my mom took of Kentrell and I yesterday in a photo frame and sat it on the night stand beside my bed

"Let me see that" sky grabbed the picture and smiled, looking at it before pouring the handful of M&Ms in her mouth "y'all so cute"

"I really do love you and Kentrell together. I usually don't like his girlfriends but as you can tell, I like you"

"Awe, I know" I smiled "and thank you. I love us together too"

"I wish Joe's stupid ass would take some pictures with me so later on in life Bailey could see how lit her parents were"

"No, y'all just some freaks and I don't think Bailey wanna see that when she gets older" Bree said while getting up, walking over to the bed

"I mean you right"Sophie shrugged and I shook my head
