**Garrett’s POV**
“AHHHHH!!!” I screamed as I flew into the air and slammed down on the ground and hit my back. I groaned in pain as I squirmed on the ground, trying to breath, since all the air was knocked out of me.
“Come on princess! You’re not in that much pain. I barely even hit you.” Mr. Hale said as he stood over me and put his hands on his hip. I thought I heard him chuckle. I gritted my teeth and ignore him as I stand up and dust myself off.
“You know what? This is pointless, no offense but I’m not like you guys!” I reminded him, “I have no freak super powers, I’m not a werewolf with great hearing, eyesight, or strength.” I waved my hands in the air for a bigger effect, “So this, isn’t easy for me. And as a human I. Get. Hurt. And I don’t regenerate or get over the pain.”
“Why are being s-”
“No, don’t you say it! If you didn’t hear me, then let me repeat it! I AM A HUMAN! HUMANS AREN’T AS STRONG AS YOU! SO WE HURT AND HAVE PAIN!”
Mr. Hale took in a deep breath and nodded his head. I waved my hand as to dismiss him, I turned around and started walking on the trail that led back to the camp. Suddenly I was jerked back my Mr. Hale.
“Listen Garrett, I understand that you’re not a werewolf. I that’s why I push you so hard, you’re not like us.” Thanks for the reminder. “So that means you have to work harder, even harder so that you won’t get hurt. Or killed. I do this to better you. Not to torture you.” I shook my head and averted my eyes, “I’m sorry, let’s start again.” I nodded my head and Mr. Hale put his arm around my shoulder and turned us back around. We walked to our spot and like he said, we started all over again.
**Peter’s POV**
One. Two. Three. Hit, block, kick. Repeat. One. Two. Three. Hit, block, kick.
For the past half an hour Chase and I had been fighting, he’d taught me how to focus my energy so that I don’t change during a fight, but so I could use it when I strike against an enemy.
He said I needed to find a vice or something that would motivate me. And vice was Audry, if anything happened to her I don’t know what I’d do. She’s my reason to fight, to continue when things get rough. But she’s also on my mind right now. Every punch I throw, every time I kick all I can think about is her.
“Hit with force, power, and when you strike make sure it has purpose.” Chase reminded as we circled around each other waiting for one of us to make a move. I decided to be the first to make a move. I drew back my fist and went to punch Chase, but he easily blocked it. “If you put all of your weight into one move, then your opponent can easily block it and strike you. Try again.”
I charged at him and picked him off the ground, but he kneed me in the stomach and I backed up. He picked me up and threw me down to the ground. I curled up in pain, “What’s going on with you?” Chase asked as he picked me up off of the ground. I dusted myself off.
