SLAM!- he got hit!
BOOM!- he fell on the ground!
AHHH!- he dies in pain...
"Another one? Seriously?" - The killer sat on her bed and cursed to herself.-"Shit." This is a fourth murder to happen in this room. There is no blood around the body, but lots of broken parts are all over the floor. No one will cry after this loss... He's most likely to be forgotten in about 20 minutes. Which is sad but Tim knows that when her grandma finds out about this she will get in trouble. Big trouble. She lies down again and reaches for her phone. It's an old Nokia, call it whatever you want "garbage", "a stone" or "old-fashioned" but for her, it does the job perfectly. You can make calls with it, answer texts and even play games like Snake II! It's just all she needs... she can send messages 459 characters long, and that seems like a fair amount. She never understood all these Instagram stars. She doesn't see the point of the whole social media case.
She looks at the screen to check the time and blinks a couple of times, looks again prayn to the gods of... whatever. But the evil dream called "8:00" which basically means "bitch you're lateeeee" is still there. She is late for school. Again. The only thing that she could think was "RUN!!". She jumped out of her bed like it was on fire and immediately started to put herself together. She was ready in 5 minutes, again there is no need for more time to get ready. Tim took the first t-shirt that she saw and put it on. She spotted her clean pair of jeans and tried to "jump into them". While running across the room to grab her shoes, she stepped on the parts of the dead alarm clock.
"aahh"- The pain was worse than stepping on to legos! Tim grabbed her shoes and ran into the living room. She looked around in search of her bag. She bought it last year and never had time to come up with a replacement. Tim ripped it so many times that there is not enough thread in the whole house! Keep in mind that she lives with a "professional grandma" and that kind of a grandma always has sowing supplies under her hand.
She looked around. On the armchair where she always leaves it, a sticky note was stuck. It said "Pigeon, I bought you a new bag... I know that you said that you don't need one but I just can't stand it when you run around with this ripped bag! So your welcome:)". Her granny left it here. Tim looked at the table, the new bag was there. On it was and another sticky note saying "I already packed it for today:) Have fun"
"Thank the gods of the granny!" Tim grabbed the bag and run out of the house.
It was a surprisingly sunny day. It was raining all week, now the weather was pretty nice. But Tim doesn't have time for enjoying this day, she has to get a bus to school. She runs to the bus stop and to make this day even more unusual. The bus stop was full of people. Even when she wakes up earlier- and that doesn't happen often- the bus stop was always empty. She and granny lived in a small house with no town around it. They always joke around that if you try hard enough you can spot one of these puffs that you see in western movies. She can't put a finger on a single neighbour to ever live here, no one likes this place. Even though she can't go shopping in a mall across the street Tim likes this place, she knows how much her granny cares about it.
The bus arrived. No one moved. Every single person on the bus stop was frozen. It almost seemed like they are waiting for something. Tim didn't give a fuck, she needed to get to school, NOW. She moved toward the bus, everyone else did the same. Tim sat down next to the window. In a split second, the bus stop was empty. Every seat was taken, except the ones around her. The bus took off.
Tim was to busy thinking about what she is going say to her teacher today to realize that everyone on the bus was staring at her. The crowd was made out of old people, middleaged, teens and even kids. She can see her house moving away, with all the trees and ground. She is heading to school now. The bus will reach the destination in 30 min. Tim looks through the window more at her reflection than at the moving landscape. She always liked to look at her reflection. Not because she likes her appearance that much, that is not the reason. Lots of people told her that she is a really pretty girl, but she doesn't feel one at all. Her skin is a little bit darker than a regular white girl would expect to have. She is overall a really strange looking character. Her hair is cut short into a bob, and since she can remember her hair was white. That would be normal if the rest of her hair were white too. But no. Her eyebrows, for example, are in the colour of dark chocolate. She has little lips and big blue eyes. Her nose is -just a smidge, but still- "eagled". Her granny sais that is because of her French relatives. Yes, because all French people have hooked noses...
Now Tim has time to look at her new bag. There is nothing special about it, actually, it doesn't seem to be new at all. It's a regular beige school bag, two pockets, no logo. The only interesting thing about it was a patch representing an hourglass. It was really colourfull and the sewed on sand almost seemed to move. She was just about to touch it when the bus stopped. Tim looked at the opening door, three new passengers got into the bus, they looked around in search for free seats, and the only ones left were the ones next to her. She moved her stuff so there is more space. They nodded and sat down, two in front of her and the third next to her. She looked at one of the girls in front of her. The only thing that she can tell about this person is the fact that she is a girl. Her face was covered with a hood. Tim looked at the second one. She seemed a little odd, she had a buzz cut and a face full of makeup her ears were pierced in so many places, all her clothes were black, a black top with black ripped trousers and fishnet stockings underneath. She was the first out of the three to gain her attention. She was the prettiest girl Tim had ever seen! Tim did notice that she can have crushes on girls some time ago, but she always had to get to know the girl to develop a crush. It wasn't the case here.
The guy next to her was a tall, latino nerd. His hairstyle- if you can even call that a hairstyle- was so messy, his hair was black and curly. He wore round big glasses, and Tim wasn't sure here if his green eyes are naturally so big or the glasses made them seem bigger. He was wearing a striped long sleeve shirt underneath a t-shirt with star wars print on it. His ears were pierced as well.
Tim stared at the buzz cut girl for a second but then the girl looked at her too, and Tim looked down blushing. She was looking at the backpack again. This time the patch really seemed to move. She touched it.
Everything disappeared. The girl, the nerd, the creepy passengers and even the bus. She was sitting on her seat with her bag on her knees. These were the only things that didn't disappear. Nothing was sounding her. She took her hand off the patch and asked for help. Still, the nothingness of this place didn't change. She starts to panic and puts her hand in desperation on to the patch again.
She is now on the same street where the bus stopped. But the bus still wasn't there. She was now sitting in a cafeteria. The street was busy with people dressed like actors in movies about princesses. Everything seemed so real. She was so stunned that she didn't realize when an old lady approached her. She put her hand on to Tims' arm. It was real.
"Are you okay darling? You look a little bit queer." The lady asked. Tim wanted to say something but her fingers moved on the patch.
She was still seated in the same cafeteria. But everything was on fire. She heard people southing something in different languages. Gunshots. She started to cry, she doesn't know what the hell was happening. She can hear a strange sound. She turns around. There is a bomb coming straight at her! She wanted to move away and moved her fingers on the patch again.
Now she was sitting surrounded by a jungle. The bomb was gone, but she could see something in the distance. The figure started to get bigger when it came closer. When it was close enough she saw that it was a dinosaur running thorwards her. When it was already two meters away she closed her eyes. She couldn't feel the dinosaur breath anymore. She could hear a sound of flapping wings and a voice that she knew well but she couldn't tell to whom it belonged to.
"I'm not going anywhere Pigeon! We will see each other there. I promise..."
Tim opened her eyes. She was back on the bus. She looked around terrified. Now she was positive that everyone on the bus was looking at her. Every passenger except the weird kids reached for something around their waist....wepons! She didn't know what to do anymore. Goodbye world!
The latino nerd looked at her, smiled and said:
"Hi, my name is Al and if you don't want to die today take my friend's hand." When he finished that sentence everyone in the bus attacked them.
