Part 15

Day 9 continued'

Anjali came downstairs with a big smile plastered on her face. Upon seeing their sister both Aakash and Dhruv look at each other wondering what has gotten her in such a good mood.

"Di, why are you smiling so happily?" Dhruv asks Anjali as he bites into his toast.

"Yeah Di, even I am curious do share," Aakash tells as he adjusts his glasses.

Anjali walks towards the dining table and answers, "In due time my dear brothers you shall know."

Dhruv shrugs his shoulders and Aakash shaking his heads smiles. Anjali sits down at her spot and begins to pour juice in her glass while waiting for Khushi and Arnav. She grins inwardly as she could not wait to tease them both.

She takes a sip from her when the house phone rings. HP answers it and gives it Anjali saying it is Buaji on the other end.

Buaji told Anjali that Khushi has to come by the house today as she and Payal have to go shopping for jewellery. Anjali reassures that she will send Khushi over as soon as breakfast is over.

Khushi comes down the stairs with a happy and rested face. Last night, she had a very good sleep and could not deny the fact that she liked sleeping cuddled to her Laad Governor.

Anjali sees her as she comes and sits down at the table. Khushi greets everyone in a chirpy tone, "Good Morning everyone! It is a great day isn't it?"

Dhruv amused by her chirpy way answers, "I take it you are a morning person girlfriend." He shakes his head and laughs.

"Girlfriend since when am I your girlfriend?" Khushi with a jokey tone asks him and laughs.

Dhruv hurt by her words, dramatically puts his hand over his heart and says sadly, "Oh that hurts!"

Aakash laughs at his brothers antics as does Anjali and Khushi, he looks at Khushi and in lovingly way asks, "Morning Khushi, sleep well?"

Anjali on the other end was grinning and asked, "Yes..yes Khushi, it looks like you indeed had a very good sleep."

Khushi takes a sip of tea from here cup and answers, "Yes, jeeju and Di I really did have a good sleep."

Anjali trying her best suppress her grinning, when she had said she had good sleep starts teasing her, "So, did you have a really good sleep or a really, really good sleep?"

Khushi all confused looks at Anjali who had a biggest grin plastered on her mouth says, "It was a really good sleep Di." She smiles at her, not knowing the fact that Anjali had seen Arnav exiting her room in the early morning hour.

As if on cue, Arnav walks down the stairs dressed in his three piece suit carrying his laptop bag.

Anjali sees him and says, "Chote, morning come and have breakfast."

Khushi sensing his presence right behind her starts blushing because last night's incident came flooding back in her mind. Her heart started to beat fast and was having hard time breathing.

She knew one thing that she has to continue with her act of still being mad at him, even though she has already forgiven him for his idiotic behaviour. She wanted to play with him and make him suffer a bit long.

She now has a mischievous grin on her face which Dhruv noticed as well as Anjali. Arnav pulls his chair out and sits right beside her.

He greets everyone, "Good morning all." He says in his ASR tone of voice.
