Luca's pov |

He ran his fingers through his sweaty hair, laughing at me as we walked to my car.

"No, I'm telling you . . . If you go to the store hungry and get a lot of snacks . . . Then when you get hungry again, you'll will be okay since you know what you craved before. You sound dumb as hell." I told him as I stood at the drivers side door.

"Are you kidding me? No. If you go to the store hungry then you will end up buying a bunch of stuff that you don't need and when you get home there will just be a bunch of unnecessary food in your pantry." he scoffed, putting his hands up in defense.

"No! If you buy all of them, then you will have food for when your hungry." I continued to argue, putting my hands on the roof of my car.

"I'm not arguing with you." he sighed, getting in the car and putting his bag in the back.

"Whatever." I muttered under by breath as I got into my car and started up the engine.

Ten minutes earlier

I stopped walking as I looked back at Chloe who was eyeing the two of us as she continued practicing her cheer routine.

"Look, the princess is mad." I said to Ethan, nudging his arm as he turned around.

He let out a breath of air from his nose and turned back around and continued walking.

"How funny would it be if she saw us like leave together." I told him as we made our way into the darkened hallway of the school.

"We like should." he replied, looking back at the cheerleaders that were now slowly making there way back to the school.

"Alright, are you hungry? because I am." I said unlocking my phone, and searching for good food places.

"We could get pizza?" he suggested as I gasped and looked over at him.

"Oh my god! That sounds so good!" I exclaimed, typing in pizza shops near us and looking for the best one.

"There's one by the target on Mayville." I said while pointing left with my finger.

"I have no idea where that is, I'm still getting used to this town."

"Right, well we can go there. Get snacks too." I told him as I locked my phone and opened one of the glass doors.

"But aren't you hungry? If we go to the store now, you will get stuff you don't need." he said while furrowing his brows while looking over at me.

He ran his hands through his hair, making our way to my car.

"No, I'm telling you . . . If you go to the store hungry and get a lot of snacks.. Then when you get hungry again, then you will be okay since you know what you craved before. You sound dumb as hell." I let out a huff as I stood by my door and unlocked it with my key.

"Are you kidding me? No. If you go to the store hungry then you will end up buying a bunch of stuff that you don't need and when you get home there will just be a bunch of unnecessary food in your pantry." he scoffed as he put his hands up defensively.
