Just so there's no confusion: Bendy is 18 and Boris is 12. They are currently four months into their freedom and on their mission. The machine pieces are the four screws and the main gear and the offerings are the book, the quill, the xxx soundtrack disk and one untold offering.
"C'mon Bendy! Hurry! They're gonna start soon!"
Boris yells dashing to the arena. Bendy speed walks behind him, not too thrilled to see the childish circus crew he grew up knowing. I'd rather we go to a bookstore to catch my favorite book... But if this makes Boris happy... He sighs and enters the arena, slipping past the adoring crowd of parents and kids.
He finds Boris in the front row and snags the free seat next to him before an adult fox did. The fox huffs and walks away.
"It's about time Bendy! It's starting!"
The excited wolf whisper shouts. The lights dimmed and a voice on the loud speaker announces the cast.
"Aaaare you reaaadyyyy?!! Iiiiit's Mickeyyyyy's Circus Tiiiiime!"
The voice cheers loudly. The music began to play and the audience screams. One by two by three by four, the bunny children popped out to the stage dancing, singing and playing instruments. The audience clapped and sang along until the moment Boris was waiting for... Mickey! He pops out of a box and flips before landing on the stage to join his crew.
Bendy can't deny that he is enjoying the show, but something seems off... He can't quite get a handle on what it was, so he shakes it off as an empty feeling of the magician and his assistant not being present for the show. However, the off feeling only gets stronger as more time passes.
Once the show ended, they were ushered out of the arena and back into the cold winter air. Bendy places a hat on Boris' head.
"What about you, Bendy?"
"What about me? Think I can put anything else on my head?"
The demon asks pointing to his goggles. The wolf opens his mouth to argue, but he cuts him off.
"Besides, I can't put anything with no opening on my head with these. You should know that better than anyone."
He deadpans pointing at his horns. Boris hesitates recalling the memory.
Flashback
Boris takes off his hat placing it-- no forcing it on Bendy's head. The demon's horns breach the fabric and Boris slides at hat on completely.
"There! Better?"
The demon is silent. Boris leans down to his brother's height and the demon turns to him with an angry devilish look. The wolf jolts in fear.
"So...Damn... ITCHY!"
The demon begins to viciously scratch at the base of his horns. He scolds his brother whilst trying to yank the damned thing off. It's stuck.
Flashback ends
The wolf stifles a laugh at the memory earning a glare from the older male. Bendy turns on his heel and heads straight for the nearby bookstore.
"C'mon, furbrain. I need my book."
Boris pouts at the nickname, but follows him, nonetheless. However, before they could reach the bookstore, a laser beam strikes and slices the tip of Bendy's right horn off. The impact of the laser was enough to knock him off his feet.
"BENDY!!"
"GET HIM!"
The wolf goes to help Bendy on his feet, but a mugheaded man tries to grab him. The demon shoots up and knocks the mugman over.
