Yellow Wins Blue

Often than not I seem to find

Myself on edge of abyss

With bloodied heart and broken mind

And felt though as fates have missed

When triumph strikes and troubles shrink

On golden edge of smiles

That's when one must seem to think

The end of blunt-toothed trials

Rubble falls from vic'try's strike

Crush, burn, felled, and churned

Despair sneaks in as envy's dike

Lessons from past unlearned

As the day crests that despair may trump

Dynasties from within rise to fight

Unwilling, unyielding to irritant slumps

Giants of old chase in from the light

Dynasties, giants- kings and men

Though days shall come where fall

Peasants, dwarfs- queens and women

Slam their feet to her call

Fuck the restrictions that yearn for blues

We won't restrain our bellows

For every dark, depressing, dank hue

Will yield to love's bright yellows
