Maeve wrapped her arm around my shoulder as we got out of my car.
"You excited?" She asked as I gave her a look.
"About school? Fuck no." I said as she laughed.
"Oh yeah, because you are queen bee." I rolled my eyes.
"I am not queen bee. Just because my dick head of a uncle is headmaster, doesn't mean I rule the school." I told her as we headed inside the school.
We got to my locker which was by Maeve's but hers doesn't have a couple having a heated make out session on it.
"MOVE! BITCHES!" I yelled out pushing them as they scurried off.
"I think I'm rubbing off on ya."
"In your dream Wiley." I smirked opening the locker.

Maeve and I held back laughter as we watched a kid named Eric play "Jerusalem" off key.
"He's adorable." I said as he finished his piece.
"THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL! YAS QUEEN." I cheered as he ran to his seat.
"Sit down Miss Groff... Thank you, Eric, for that rendition of the school anthem. It was adequate." Uncle Richard said as I rested my head on Maeve's shoulder.
"So, just a few things to us get us started. The toilet block behind the gymnasium is full of asbestos, so, please, keep out."
I was about to fall asleep as Maeve flicked my head.
"Ow! Bitch." I groaned.
"It's class, get your ass up." Maeve said as we stood up.
"Ugh, I have dance. See you later?" I asked.
"See ya later." She kissed my cheek as we went our different ways.

It was after 2nd and I was on my way to the asbestos filled bathroom to meet Maeve and Aimee.
I made my way outside heading towards it when someone bumped into me, making my things fly everywhere.
"WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING!" I yelled as they picked up my books.
"I-I'm sorry." The person said standing up.

His bright blue eyes, tried not to make eye contact, and my heart skipped a beat.
"No. I'm sorry, I shouldn't of yelled." I said.
"Oh." I moved my books into one arm holding out my hand.
"I'm Riley Groff." I said.
"I know... I-I mean I'm Otis Milburn." He said shaking it.
"Here." I held my hand out.
"Give me your phone, incase you want to press chargers or if your hurt." I said.
He laughed taking out his phone as I quickly put my number in.
"But I'm supposed to meet some friends. See you around Blue Eyes." I smiled before heading to the bathrooms.

I walked into the bathroom as I heard Maeve and Aimee talking.
"How's it going with Knobzilla?"
"He can't come." Aimee said as I groaned.
"Can we not talk about my cousin that way?" I asked as Aimee ignored me.
"So, the other night, we're, like, goin' and goin'. And I'm losin' my shit!" Aimee said changing her accent.
"And I, you know - reached the summit."
"Yeah." Maeve and I looked at each other.
"But he, like -."
"Slipped and dropped the yogurt?" Maeve asked as I gave her a look.
"No, I wish. He faked it."
"You sure?" I asked her.
"I don't know what I'm doin' wrong."
"Maybe he was nervous or some thing." Maeve said.
"Ruby and Olivia think I should dump him... They say he's bringin' down my social status but." She stopped sighing.
"The thing is, he can be really sweet when nobody's watchin'" Aimee said.
"Imma beat their preppy asses."
"Don't know why you listen to those dickheads... If you like him, do what you want." Maeve said as Aimee checked her phone.
"Tits. They're looking for me." She got up and started packing her bag.
"Thanks for the game."
"No worries." Maeve smiled sadly.
"And the chat... Oh, and."
"Don't worry, you were never here." Maeve said as I took Aimee's spot.
"Ta-ra, lads."
"See you later, pet." Maeve said as I waved.

Maeve passed me the cigarette as I took a puff.
"So why were you late?"
"Oh." I handed her back the cigarette.
"Bumped into someone... Doesn't matter though, how are you Jackson?" I asked.
"We're just fucking, nothing big." She said as the bell rang.
"Whatever you say Wiley." We finished the cigarette before heading out.
