"This is Miles, he'll be helping you around the school so just go to all his lessons and don't worry he's a good kid" the teacher smiled. "Thanks sir" Miles said quietly. "Okay you guys better get going the bells gone". I followed behind Miles "What lesson is first?" I asked. "Umm I have maths". He replied. "Oo I love maths" I smiled while speeding up to walk beside him instead of behind. "Maths? Really?" He said with confusion. I nodded.
We arrived at the room and Miles went over to sit with his friends which to my surprise he sat with Willow, Kai and another boy I didn't recognise. I stood there because I didn't know if they wanted me but I immediately saw that Willow was waving in my direction, I looked behind me to see if she was waving to some else. "Kara I'm waving at you" she laughed. I slowly walked over and sat down next to her. "Hi" I said so quietly they only just heard. "Hey" the boy I didn't know smiled. "This is Brandon" Kai blushed. "Nice to meet you Brandon" I waved shyly.
After the teacher had thought the lesson and we had talked for a while the bell went and Miles and myself went to English. I sat down next to Miles hoping he wouldn't mind and I don't think he did, when I sat down he smiled. There was no one else on out table to I figured he used to sit alone "is there no one else on this table?" I asked. "No" he replied "I've always sat her by myself" he frowned. "Oh...why?" I asked again. "Well I'm a shy person, I don't really have many friends" he explained. My smile dropped because I felt so bad for him, even though I just met him all I wanted to do was hug him, so I did. His face went bright red as I wrapped my arms around him. "I'll be your friend" I smiled.
Miles's POV
She hugged me her arms wrapped around me, I could feel my face burning up and going red. "I'll be your friend" she smiled. I looked down at her after my face had gone back to normal and smiled back at her "thanks. Her arms slowly unwrapped from around me and she looked towards the teacher that had just walked into the room.
