Aizawa | Coming out (FtM reader)

You had been dating Aizawa for a few months, but lately, something had been off about you. You had been quiet, always lost in your own little world. He was hesitant to ask what had been bothering you, if you weren't opening up to him he knew it must be something important. He had decided the best way to approach this was over dinner and a movie, a relaxing environment might help you stay calm. So he ordered take out, before covering your sofa in pillows and blankets, and putting your favorite movie on before you came home. You had arrived just after the take out had been delivered, taking off your shoes and stepping into the apartment you shared you wandered into the living room.

"Shouta, what's going on?" You hesitantly asked, walking up to your boyfriend who was placing the takeout onto the coffee table. He turned to look at you before softly grabbing one of your hands,

"Are you okay?" He spoke softly, something that took you off guard before you gave him a small smile. He sat down, pressed play on the movie and pulled you down next to him. You looked at your hands, finding them incredibly interesting at that moment. He sighed "You don't need to tell me what's bothering you, but I'm here for you-"

"Shouta no I'm just... Nervous is all" You sputtered out, not wanting to give him the wrong idea. You grabbed his hand, squeezing it as if doing so would make it easier. "I'm trans." You mumbled, terrified of what could happen. He let out a breath you didn't know he was holding.

"You're trans? Is that what's been bothering you?" He engulfs you, the scent of his cologne is overwhelming yet calming. You nod into his shirt. "I still love you-" He stops himself, unsure of what he should call you. Luckily you catch on

"Y/N, I'd like to be called Y/N" He nods and continues,

"I still love you Y/N, regardless of what gender you are, I'll support you" You let out a sob, as he rubs soothing motions into the small of your back with his thumb. You sit up suddenly startling him for a moment before you reach for the food. "I love you Shouta."

"I love you too"
