Luna was the first to slip out of the classroom once the class had ended. Her eyes seemed focused on something, her fingers wiggling. Her next class was Potions, but she's going the wrong way, even though she had been in Hogwarts for more than four years. Draco watched her curiously. It wasn't the first time he had caught her acting strange, or at least, not by Lovegood standards strange.

Luna's been doing this for quite some time now. Maybe even once the semester began. Draco suspected that it must have something to do with his new task, or she could just be doing something looney. Only one way to find out.

Slowly, he followed Luna, careful not to let anyone notice what he was doing. He distanced himself enough to stop that from happening. She skipped and skipped and skipped, but never stopped.

Suddenly, Draco found himself in the Forbidden Forest. He raised an eyebrow, what could Luna be doing here?

He stopped and hid behind a tree as soon as she stopped skipping. He peeked and saw her sit down and pull out a pencil and a piece of paper from her bag. Puzzled, Draco approached, but the sound of her voice stopped him in his tracks.

She's humming. She's humming a song and drawing on her piece of paper. Her focus is solely on the paper. Draco approached again, step by step, careful not to make a sound.

"Mmm mm mmm across the universe. Mmm mmm.." The hums were getting louder as he got closer.

"Mmmm Change my world. Nothing's gonna-" A twig snapped right below Draco's shoe, and Luna stopped singing to let out a gasp. Draco stopped moving, his other foot not even touching the ground. Luna turned around, looked at Draco, and burst into laughter.

"I thought hah, I thought I was alone," She explained in between laughs. Draco looked at her with utter confusion, but the sight of the tears of laughter streaming down her face made him snort.

"Sorry," He said, his hand rubbing his head. Luna calmed down from her laughter and merely smiled at him before gesturing him to sit next to her.

Draco hesitated, but eventually went over to sit with her. He looks at her drawing with curious eyes.

"What's that?" He points to the horses in between the trees. The horses are shadowy, skeletal-looking, and they have wings.

"Threstals. You can't see them, you haven't seen someone die yet." What an odd thing to say, but Draco knew Luna doesn't lie. Draco nods and looks at the drawing again.

"Impressive. Didn't know you were good at this stuff. What were you singing just now?" He asked.

"Across The Universe," Luna answered, "By The Beatles."

Draco scoffed.

"A muggle band?" Luna's eyebrows furrowed.

"A good band, nonetheless!" She defended. Draco laughed at the sight of her angry face, she was adorable, looney or not. He raised his hands in defeat.

"Alright, alright. You win," He answered. Luna's eyebrows went back to normal. She went back to finishing her art piece.

"Nice tattoo, by the way," Draco took his attention away from Luna's hands to his mark. He must have adjusted his sleeve while he was following her. He covered it again and reached for his wand.

"Do you know what it is?" He asked softly. Luna nodded and looked back at him.

" I don't think I can do anything about it," She answered, lips forming into a pout.

"Tell anyone-"

"And you'll kill me," Luna finished.

"I won't, I know you'll do something to my father too if I did," She reasoned. Draco put his wand back.

" You've been acting strange this term. You're doing something here, aren't you?" Luna tore the page out of her sketchbook. Draco hummed.

"I can't say no. My parents will die," He explained. Luna smiled. It was odd how she smiled in the worst part of the conversation, but that was Luna.

"We both have something in common, then," She commented.

"Other than our hair," Draco joked. The two blondes laughed. Once they stopped to breathe, Luna piped up again.

"I hope you'll come again." Draco smiled at her sadly. It would be bad for his reputation, but he's also bringing death eaters to the school, so why should he care about reputation?

"Maybe I will." Luna smiled at his answer.
