Chapter 3: The evil ahead

Princess Cassie and prince Jack stood on top of the mountain in shock the usually cheerful, sunny and peaceful valley's sky was dark and destcruction littered the grassy hills. Monsters could be seen everywhere no matter where they looked. "H-how are we supposed to stop this!?" Cassie asked her voice raising in pitch. Jack looked at her with worry that may as well have been written all over his face and said "i-im not sure but we'll figure something out!" He said with confidence he didn't feel. Then more or less to himeself he whispered "I hope" but sadly Cassie heard him. She quickly looked at him "you hope? YOU HOPE? WHY DONT YOU COME UP WITH SOMETHIMG HELPFUL!" then making an obvious effort to calm down. She Shook her head "I'm sorry Jack I'm just scared ok? that's not your fault I shouldn't have fired up at you" Jack looked at her with sympathy "I understand how you feel I'm scared too" he dropped a hand on Cassie's shoulder. "Don't worry I won't let ANYTHING happen to you." Then to give Cassie a confidence boost he placed both hands on her shoulders while she stood there turning as red as a beetroot he gave her a quick peck on the lips. "Come on we need to save my home." he walked to the telescope and studied it. Cassie, who was still red, watched with interest "wha..." She paused to compose herself then in a more steady voice she spoke. "What are you looking for?" He put one hand under the telescope he smiled triumphantly as he pressed a button and the whole thing collapsed in on itself. "Great now it's broken!" Cassie said in annoyance "ah but that's the beauty of this design it's collapsible' so its easier to carry. She looked at him with interest, "Ok that's cool what else do we have access to?" Jack thought for a minute.
"Well I'm not sure we unlock things as we go so it could be anything." Cassie was interested now. "How do we unlock them?" Jack stood up with the telescope in his arms 'oh how I wish that was me right now!' She thought as Jack walked towards her. "We do the right thing you know save villages and stuff like that." He followed me down the rubble covered mountain. Then an explosion blew her half way down the mountain. "Ah!" "ahahaha! You'll never stop us!' It sounded like males voice shortly after a female spoke 'well said brother!' Jack saw two people coming towards him while bars had trapped him in. He was scared, scared for his and Cassie's sake. Then realization hit him as he looked around Cassie wasn't with him! 'Where is she?' But he had no more time to think about it as he made out more detail on the two people coming towards him. The boy had black hair and red eyes, he wore a black suit with a white shirt and black ribbon tied into a bow, he also had a red flower on his left breast. His smile was charming but it held a sense of venom in it like a viper lulling its victims before striking. The girl also had black hair but her eyes were different one was red like her brothers but the other was a bright blue like Jacks. She wore a lace choker and a black dress, exposing her shoulders, her hair was up in twin pig tails on the sides of her head. Her smile had the same deadly charm her brothers did. "Who are you? Where's Cassie?"
"Aha haha! Enough time to see her later if shes survived!" Jack thought on how he could escape he needed to see if Cassie was ok!

Cassie just managed to grab a sturdy branch just before she fell into a deep canyon. "Whoa! I was almost a pancake!" She looked up and managed to pull herself up onto the ledge. She sat there gathering her breath before running back up the mountain to see two black clad figures in front of bars that held jack and the telescope inside! "I have to get him out!" Then her eye fell on a large stick that she could use to levy the bars apart. She grabbed it and ran to two of the bars, she looked at the black clad figures. 'Good they're still distracted, hold on just a little more Jack I'll get you out!' She shoved the stick between the bars and pulled on it as hard as she could but unfortunately the siblings heard the noise and turned to see what it was. "Well well well look at what we have here! A princess thinking she can move those bars on her lonesome hahaha! How Amusing." She pointed a perfect finger at cassie and she was lifted into the air and dropped, rather carelessly, onto the ground next to Jack. "Cassie!"
"Jack!"
Oh isn't that sweet they're happy to see each other but that's not going to help them now is it Azazil?"
"No I don't believe it is Akira."
Jack looked at them with shock "A-Azazil? Ak-kira?"

Sorry its been so long since I updated last I've been doing al lot of stuff lately and haven't had time but as usual I hope you enjoyed and as you know this chapter in fact this whole story is deticated to my best friend Cassie. Love ya bestie!!!!! 😝😜💙
