Chapter 4: The time limit

Cassie and Jack had to get out before it was too late. The names azazil and akira obviously ment something to jack but from his reaction they brought back bad memories. Jacks mind was working overtime "if azazil and akira are involved in this that means that we don't have much time before they take total control over enchancia" jacks mind was whirling. Then he saw a large gap in between to of the bars "come on this way" jack whispered. They squeezed through the bars and was racing down the hill when the two demons noticed that their prisoners were gone. "they got away!" Akira exclaimed. Azazil put his hand on Akiras shoulder "we will find them later" jack and cassie managed to get down the hill with the telescope. "Well" he said between breathes "we really need to get this thing to the top of that mountain."
"Do you mind telling me what's going on?" Cassie put her hands on her hips as she said this. "Those two are nothing but trouble, of theyre involved then we don't have much time. The question is how much time do we have?"
After a few days of hiding, battling and running, the two finally get to the bottom of the tallest mountain in enchancia. "Is this it?"
"Yeah mount nightmare." Cassie looked at Jack.
"Why do they call it that?" Jack moved past her.
" you'll find out soon enough, come on." Cassie, a little disturbed and worried by his answer, followed uncertainly.  As they made they're way up the mountain Cassie could hear voices, they were just outside her consciousnesses, that set her teeth on edge. "Your time is running out" some of them said.
"It's only days away now" others said, Cassie commented on these. Jack just looked and her and smiled, it was a strained smile. "You hear them do you? They're why it's called mount nightmare, they'll keep you up and when you do finally get to sleep
All you hear are they're voices." Laughter sounded around them.
"Destruction is nearing, you will die here."
The last half was repeated throughout the days they spent climbing the mountain, they had hardly slept, the voices were playing havoc with their nerves, stretching them as thin as they could go, then on the last they were in the forest all the voices stopped except one. "5 days until..." whatever was happening in 5 days they never heard, because at that moment they were clear of the forest, the top of the mountain was in sight. " yes!  We made it! Now all we have to do is set this bad boy up and..." a beacon of light shot towards the moon, but nothing else happened. " are you sure you set it up properly?"
" yes I did I..." just then they saw something in the distance...
