POV Jon

He set off alone. The other commanders had warned him not to, suggest he take some brave men with him in case of any problems but he didn't want to. Other men would slow him down and he didn't know where Bran could be. He knew he would have to ask the Wildings which reminded him of her. He had never gotten over her and he knew he need would.

He rode north. He loved the scenery. Many people were so scared of heading too far north as there were many threats and there were. White walkers, Wildings, direwolfs the list was infinite but once you forget all of this it was magical. The winter wasn't so bad for Jon but that was probably because he was part Stark so winter ran in his blood. He missed his half siblings. He had never gotten over Robb's death. He would destroy the Lannisters as they were destroying Westeros. He missed Sansa and her constant flirting with the young lords of the north. He missed Arya and her sword fighting. Her archery skills were better that any man's. She was a better fighter than any man and Jon wondered if she was the best in the seven kingdoms. He missed Bran and his wisdom and climbing. Even though he could no longer climb, he was still very clever. He missed Rickon and his ability to make the whole of Winterfell laugh.

He saw people on the horizon. As they drew closer, he realized that they were Wildlings on a hunt and he decided to asks them if the had seen Bran. After a long discussion they told him that a week ago they had seen a group of travelers running into a cave because of a white walkers attack. He knew that it was Bran because the Wildings described a boy on a mans back. Jon thanked them and rode so fast the Ghost could hardly keep up.
