Today, I was really bored. I head into the library when Lou runs in.
"me and Jessie kind are going to the beach because her boyfriend just broke it off. Do you wanna come with us?" Lou asks.
"fine. I'll come!"
We head to the beach and Jess is really sad, like really sad. We arrive and have tonnes of fun.
The three of us head back to the house and once we get there, I push the door open and we head to Jess's room.
"Let's look at some Dramione stuff!" I suggest. They agree. I hand the keyboard to Jess and she types in... Lemon. Jess forces me to read it when I refuse. Lemon is NOT my thing. And if was too graphic. She pulls a puppy face and I give in.
After an hour finishing the lemon, I head back to bed once Jess began to talk about how much she missed her ex. I open the door to the bedroom and Samuel has vanished. Which is really weird because I forced him to stay inside the room. After calling his name a few times, I feel someone hug me from behind. I soften from the touch. We just stand there until Lou barges into the room.
"Jess, come, quick!"
The both of us run to Lou and she takes us to the bathroom. She says that Jess only wants me.
Jess is on the floor. Crying.
"What's up?"what happened next shocked me. Jess had a pile of blood by her legs. She runs and hugs me." oh Jessie! How long? She cries even more.
"two weeks. She was going to tell you tonight, but this happened" Lou says. Me and Jess just stand there clinging onto eachother. Poor thing. Quickly I text Samuel, telling him to go to bed and that I was staying with Jess.
Me and Jess stood there, not letting eachother go.
Grieving together.
I don't know why I was so upset, may be that Jess is my cousin and we were so close. Or that pile of blood carried my cousin.
But I didn't need a reason.
Because only what was happening this moment mattered.
