Felix led the brunette into the cafe they were outside of at sat in a booth near the window and sighed as he sat down. The brunette's eyes glossed with concern as he looked into the younger's eyes,
"so..." he gulped, "tell me."
"ah, uh- I- well..." Felix sighed lightly, taking in a deep breath before starting, " my mom called me home as you know, and... and when I got there she had this cold smile. She asked if I was gay, if I was a homo and said horrible, horrible things to me. My dad walked into the room and joined her doing the same. I was already crying and he.. he called me weak and I looked up, and my little sister was at the bottom of the steps. She told them I was always with you, she thought they'd be happy but she got sent to her room. After shoving me into the door and yelling they finally left me alone, and I ran to you, but you were mad.
I understand, I understood, I was scared. I thought I messed up... then I had nowhere to stay. I couldn't go home, Chris is out of town and Rose's parents would never let me stay there... So I slept on a bench that night and I waited for my parents to leave and snuck into the house, and took stuff. I have had to do that almost every night..."
At that point Felix felt numb. He laid it all out and he cried. He let the boy he hardly knew see him at his lowest and only felt the weight lifting as the boy came to him and engulfed him in a gentle hug,
"I am so, so sorry. I should have listened, but I'm here now, okay? no more sleeping on benches." he muttered, gently kissing the boys forehead.
After talking for a little while about what they had gone through, it turned out the brunette didn't have it easy until his parents accepted it a few years later, and that it'd be okay. They went to the beach to try their date again and it ended fine.
"Hey, I need to tell you something." the brunette started and immediately the ginger began rambling,
"What? do you not like me? If so I get it, like I'm pretty annoying sometimes and my dad sai-"
he froze when he felt a pair of lips on his, and blinked before leaning back,
"What was that for?! I was trying to ask a-"
and another kiss,
"Hey! knock it off i-"
And another,
"I swear to God, let me tal-"
and yet another,
"that's it." Felix mumbled, grasping the boys shirt collar and pulling him in for a kiss which got a bit heated.
"a-at l-least I g-got you to s-stop" the brunette mumbled, his face flushed blood red, and felix laughed, completely forgetting about the aforementioned topic, which they would both lead to regretting.
