Felix ran, he ran until his stomach hurt and fell down against a tree. he leaned against it and sobbed. he sobbed knowing everything was over, knowing the boy he loved will leave him and find someone else, knowing they'll never talk again, and not knowing his name. he sobbed for the pain he'll face when he has to go through the dreaded front door to his home and stay there.

Chris moved, just like his neighbor is, and he and Rosé grew apart. She loved him still, but they simply no longer talked after Felix "disappeared", although she had no clue why. Felix was alone again, and he would be for the longest time. This hurt him more and more. He knew he and his sister would never be the same and his parents would never change.

he was finally all alone.

he heard rustling in the leaves around him, and being the scared sixteen year old he was he covered his mouth and mumbled his sobs. it got louder and louder until he looked up and saw a figure above him,

"what are you doing all the way out here?"

the brunette asked him, bending down and grabbing his hands.

"why did you look for me? s-shouldn't you be packing up to leave me?"

"now you really think that I would leave without seeing you?" he smirked lightly, wiping the tears from his face.

"everyone," Felix started, inhaling deeply, "everyone is leaving me.. you, Chris, Rosie.. everyone."

"oh, no.. I'm.. I'm so sorry, baby... I am not leaving forever. I promise you that I will be back."

"w-what did you call me?" Felix mumbled, his face blood red,

"I said.... 'baby' ." he smirked playfully, leaning down and engulfing the smaller boy in an ensuring hug.

Felix wrapped his arms around the brunettes neck and buried his head in his chest, weeping lightly.

"I'm so sorry that I have to leave.. you know I don't want to, you know that, right? I have to finish college.. I will come back to you. I promise I will. whether it be 2 years or 15 years. I will."

"I believe you, I'm sorry I was so mad.. I just..." the ginger sniffled, sighing, "can... can I have a.."

"a goodbye kiss?" the brunette smirked, causing Felix to turn into a blushing mess as he nodded,

"of course, angel."

felix leaned up and connected their lips, bringing a hand to the latters cheek, gently moving his lips. the brunette tightened his grip and leaned more into the kiss. they broke apart for a breath of air, only to connect again and kiss each other once more.

"I know you're leaving, and I.. I know we don't know each other that well, or well enough for me to say this, but.. I.. I think I love you." Felix shyly smiled.

"I think I love you too.." he smiled, their lips connecting shortly,

"-- but I have to go. let's promise, okay? no matter what, if we are dating someone else, if we're married, if we change our mind and decide guys aren't really our thing, let's promise that we will always be there for each other, okay?"

Felix nodded and smiled, "I promise. "

the two connected their pinkies, and with that, he was gone, and once again,

Felix was alone.
