A Date for the Day

The fallowing day Fawn had dressed herself all up for her friend and sister's day of fun. Fawn was pretty used to her Bunmalia uniform and often wore that but today she wore something a little different. She had picked out a dress that started one color at the top and faded into another. This particular dress started in blue and faded into a dark purple. Fawn had also pulled a section of her hair back with a barrette. She felt pretty adorable in her little outfit.

It wasn't long before her sister, Kelly, and her friend, Siri, finally arrived. Kelly Immediately threw herself into Fawn's arms.

"You've been gone forever I nearly died!" Kelly exaggerated.

"You were not going to die," Fawn laughed.

"Your right that would make it too easy on you," Kelly corrected.

Fawn rolled her eyes and laughed.

"So Fawn," Siri began ", where's your 'boyfriend' you two didn't 'break up' did you?"

Siri was the type that thought any single girl was a loser, and teased Fawn relentlessly for not getting herself a date. To fix this problem Fawn told Siri that she had a boyfriend and anytime it came to making them meet him she simply pretended that they broke up. This time, however, Siri made it clear that she was onto her and that excuse wasn't going to work on her.

"We didn't break up he just... isn't here yet! He is probably still at work." Fawn explained.

Siri rolled her eye showing that she wasn't buying Fawn's story. Fawn looked around desperately for someone she could trust to help. Fawn noticed Terrance in the distance and a crazy Idea popped into her head.

"Their! that's my boyfriend! I'll go get him!" Fawn proclaimed.

She ran off after him.

*Terrance's POV*

Terrance heard a familiar voice call his name from behind him. He turned to see who was calling him. The rabbit he met the other day hopped over to him. She was dressed all up and looked very pretty. 

"Fawn, don't you look nice?" Terrance noted.

Terrance felt his face get hot when he said that.

"Thanks." Fawn answered ", Can I ask you for favor?"

"What is it?" Terrance asked.

"I need a fake boyfriend for a few moments to prove to my friend that I'm telling her the truth," Fawn exclaimed.

10- "Okay, I'll do it!"

11- "Why don't you tell her the truth then?"

10:

"Thank you so much!" Fawn thanked ", Alright then let's go."

Fawn grabbed Terrance's paw and dragged him over to her group.

"This is my boyfriend, Terrance," Fawn explained.

"I'm Kelly and this is Siri," Kelly introduced.

Siri beamed menacingly and mentioned ", You know you could come with us on our little date, I'd love to get to know you."

"Oh he doesn't want to do that," Fawn expounded.

12- "Why not? I'd love to hang out."

13- "Yeah, I have a lot of work to do."

11:

Fawn's ears drooped down in shame as she answered ", I guess your right. I guess it is time to tell the truth. It's a good thing you were here to set me strait."

Fawn hopped back over to her group ready to tell the truth.

"What's the matter Fawn? Was he too busy 'working'?" Siri sneered ", I guess your single after all!"

Terrance happened to overhear this and felt a little sorry for Fawn.

14-  pretend to be her boyfriend and save Fawn the embarrassment.

15- let Fawn handle her own problems.

12:

"Terrance you don't have to-" Fawn began.

Terrance interrupted ", I want to come honey, and you can't stop me! I'll go get changed."

Terrance  headed off to get ready while the rest of the group waited.

"Oh it's that's too bad, here I was worried Fawn asked you to fake it for her," Siri pointed, feigning worry ", I hope that 'work' goes well for you!"

Terrance felt his fur light up in anger, but he decided to let Fawn handle it  from their.

"Look sweetie, I'm sorry I forgot about your date," Terrance apologized ", I'll make it up to you. I can get ready to go right now and we can head out. Would that make you happy?"

Fawn looked at Terrance in confusion, yet played along.

"I forgive you, go get changed," Fawn answered.

Terrance headed off to get ready while the rest of the group waited.

Terrance decided that fawn needed to tell the truth. Even if it got her teased it was the right thing to do. Anything from their-out was her problem.
