Bakugo
Wandering down the road Bakugo tightened the grip on his bag. After his long and relaxing summer holiday he was finally heading to UA high. Despite his usually strong persona he could definitely feel the butterflies in his stomach dancing around.Standing still outside the large gates he felt sick, but he would be damned if he was going to run away. He was THE Bakugo Katsuki and he won't be scared by something as stupid as a school.
Then he noticed the person he hated the most on this earth, Deku. This was the idiot he had been stuck with since childhood. The stupid nerd was blushing and talking to some baby faced brown haired girl.
Tch, was she the person he had been talking about? This pissed him off even more so he decided to shove right past him.
"don't get in my way you damned nerd." He muttered just loud enough for the greenette to hear him. The idiot had always annoyed him, and he knew exactly why.
A few days before Bakugo got his quirk
Deku came running into the classroom that morning. He was holding up his dominant hand and smiling with his big goofy grin. He was going around telling people that he had been walking to school with his mummy and had bumped into some child who was wearing a hood. He said after that, a red string had appeared around his pinkie finger.
He had earned many joyous compliments and congratulations from the adults. The fact that his string had appeared at such a young age meant he had the rest of his life to find and live with them. Something many people would give anything to do.
Bakugo watched as all the people flocked around Deku. How dare they?! he was far more impressive than that freckle faced dumbass. So the next day he came into class holding his hand up high. He proudly told everyone he had met a really pretty girl at his daddy's work yesterday evening and when they shook hands their string had connected.
When everyone asked if they could meet her he had to lie and told them she lived abroad with her parents, but that she visited for one day each year. But deep down he knew he could only get so far with this lie. So 4 years later he bunked an entire week off school and when he went back in he said that his string had suddenly snapped and that a few hours later they and received a call that the girl had died. He said that he had been at her funeral.
Present day, outside UA
Wandering into the class he traversed the halls till he saw a large door with a huge A on the front. Sliding it open he sighed in disgust at how normal it looked with it's perfectly alignment wooden desks and the large teacher's podium at the front.
Closing the door behind himself (cuz he's a good child, even if he's a bit prickly) he stood in front of the giant black board and read the list of names till it came to his. Nice he was next to the window. Spinning on his heels he made his way to the seat and this is when he noticed the blue haired guy.
He was walking around the class, making sure that all the chairs were in perfect alignment. He had a full on tape measure and everything. 'That's some next level OCD shit right there.' he muttered to himself.
Reaching his desk he dropped his bag beside it. Sliding onto the surprisingly comfortable wooden chair he leaned back and kicked his feet up onto the desk and then he swore he heard the blue haired guy cry inside.
In total, he guessed it took about half a second for the guy to speed walk over and start waving his hands about like some sort of broken robot.
"Umm excuse me but you shouldn't put your feet up it's disrespectful to the people who made the desk and the upper class men."
Bakugo looked at the glasses kid with the usual shit eating grin. "Yeah, and who's going to stop me? You? You're just some weird asshole that likes to bother people."
He watched as the boy's face twisted into a look of pure horror. Just as the boy was about to say something the door slid open and in walked Bakugo's favorite shit head, Deku.
Just as he was about to jump up and give him a piece of his mind the bell went off so with a grumble he leaned back into his seat. For a full 5 minutes they sat there waiting, people gave up and started to chat amongst themselves to make new friends. Bakugo simply stared out the window, friends would get in the way.
Bakugo was enjoying his view of the small garden when he noticed a boy standing beside his desk, twiddling his thumbs. Slamming his feet onto the floor with a thud he turned slowly to look at the person.
It was guy with spikes red hair, and a weird gr- HOLY SHIT HIS TEETH!!!!
Bakugo had to sit up a bit to avoid looking too shocked. This dude had literal shark teeth, HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!
"Ummm hi?" the red head greeted in a questioning tone. Bakugo looked up at the guy, what the hell did he want.
The boy held out a hand, he was expecting a handshake. "Well you were all alone so i thought you didn't have any friends, maybe we could be friends?" One again he finished on a question. This really seemed to piss him off.
Reaching out as if to shake his hand he watched the boy's face brighten into a happy glow. Just before their hands made contact he slapped it away. Staring the redhead directly in the eyes he stated. "I don't need your fucking pity shitty hair."
Then something amazing happened. Bakugo's loose string started to grow and began to reach out towards the red head's hand. Then he could see his string as well, and before he knew it, they were one.
A warm happy feeling started to bloom within Bakugo's chest as all of a sudden the red head seemed less, shitty. He looked up to see him staring, wide eyes at the string that was wrapped around his finger. Just as the redhead opened his mouth to say something the door slid open with a voilent bang, and there was the teach..... a yellow slug?
Bakugo glared at the boy beside him, who thankfully got the hint and went to sit down. All the while his eyes never left the bright red string. The lesson began except it didn't, because next thing they knew they were in the changing rooms getting ready for a practical lesson.
Bakugo stood in the corner awkwardly, doing everything he could to not admire the red head as he started to undress. For some reason he was really fucking hot, but he didn't think that was a bad thing. After all a soulmate isn't that bad if they were this hot.
Realising he had been staring and was now being stared at he glared at everyone before stomping out the changing rooms. As he was walking he heard an overexcited voice call out.
"Wait a sec Bakugo."
Bakugo flinched and looked over his shoulder to see the red head running towards him with a bright smile on his face. Standing frozen he watched as the boy jogged up beside him and gave him a toothy grin.
"So... um.... I think we should talk about this." He raised his hand and pointed to the string. Bakugo glanced at his string, following it to the other boy's finger. Looks like it wasn't an mistake.
"Yeah whatever shitty hair, wait till after school. Meet you at the gates Yeah?"
And with that he was gone, mingling with the crowd and shouting at some kid he called 'Deku'. Kirishima twidled the string between his forefinger and thumb, guess this meant he had a soulmate.
Pushing the thought away he joined the rest of the class and watched the clock tick down to the end of the day.
