| If you don't want to die, think. - Levi Ackerman |

[17:56]

Looking out the window, [First Name] sighed at the unsurprising sight of dark looming clouds, heavy with hours worth of rain.

"I can't believe this..." Ali, one of her friends, ranted vaguely from another corner of the room as she paced.

The semester has just ended for all of them. And their finals turned out exceptional, but that was all the good news all of them were about to get. They had originally planned on celebrating their break by going to the beach to swim, but that was quickly thwarted as the news of an unexpected storm coming in from the north had suddenly made itself known, causing newscasters to broadcast an emergency warning announcement for people to stock up and prepare to stay in doors for the next few days as the unprecedented storm does it's worse.

To make things even more splendid, their little group was somewhere in the middle of the road when they all heard the news on the radio as it interrupted their little car rave.

Now they were all forced to stop by the nearest motel just to wait it out since the beach was an overnight drive away and the newscaster said that roads were no longer safe come nightfall and that landslides weren't completely ruled out for those who planned to drive by the mountain side, which was where they all needed to pass to get to the beach.

"Times like this make me hate living in the country side of nowhere even more..." Lea, her other friend, ranted as they made themselves comfortable in the chair situated in the corner of the room.

The three girls had taken turns using the shower and Lea was currently the last one out with her still damp hair continuously soaking through the cheap motel's white towel as she left it draped around her neck and shoulders. She tucked her feet in and curled herself into the single sofa couch, continuing her rant. "Speaking of things I hate....could this place be any colder? Jeez, I'm freezing over here..."

"I actually checked that with the manager....dude said that the heater for this room was broken but it was the only room that ran hot water...." Ali shared followed by a long winded sigh as her shoulders slumped in a mixture of defeat and disappointment. "With how cold it's getting we might just have to stop by the guys' room to thaw out since their heater seems to be working just fine...."

"I don't see how that's something to be bummed about~" Lea quickly smiled mischievously at the mention of having to crash rooms, but it was not for fun's sake. "It'd be the perfect excuse to share a bed with Jaimie." She's had her eye on that boy ever since he'd joined your little group of roadtrippers.

[First Name] couldn't help but roll her eyes at the ridiculous plan that was no doubt already brewing in that beautiful head of hers.

"Ali, what time is it on your phone? If we're gonna crash we might as well make it look casual." Lea blurted out as her excitement started to peak.

"It's about six pass?" The girl answered hesitantly, not really feeling comfortable with the idea of having to be completely unconscious and vulnerable around men, even if they were her friends.

"Perfect!~" Lea purred, already getting up from her seat and made a quick strut towards her duffel bag to change clothes.

"[First Name], are you just going to let her do this?" Ali asked, looking to the quiet girl that sat near the window, idly watching the rain as it began to pour, hoping for some semblance of an argument that would give her an excuse to knock some sense into Lea.
