Who is The Running Man in the Winter Solder?

Pov: 3rd Person

After dinner, there were a lot of hugs. One by one all of his friends -maybe? he didn't exactly know- lined up and engulfed him in a hug -which he much preferred to the punches from earlier-. Finally, when he reached the end of the line there stood the horseman -Mr. Brunner, his mind supplied, but something felt wrong- and Mr. Brunner bent down and wrapped Percy in a hug.

"I'm so glad you're okay," The horse-man sighed, and Percy just nodded, his eyebrows furrowed.

Another voice spoke up, "He's okay. He's crazy." Percy's head whipped around to see the ugly looking man glaring at the two.

Percy opened his mouth and words came out before he could think them through, "Takes a crazy to know a crazy."

The imp -Leo, wasn't it?- oohed and melted into the background with a singsongy "burn". Hazel squeaked and shrunk away, while Frank -animal man?- just looked at Percy with an eyebrow raised.

Sky boy -not to be confused with the terrifying sky girl, Thalia,- gave Percy an excited smile then leaned over to Annabeth, "So glad I got that on Camera, it'll be great for the wedding photos."

Growling, the man who Percy -might or might not have- insulted spoke up, "If he lives that long. But, alas it's too much work." and the man stormed off.

Giving his girlfriend -oh, he was never going to get tired of saying that- a wide eye look, she sighed at the unasked question, "He's Mr. D. A god who you just insulted."

Looking around Percy leaned in, "Is that bad?"

The imp started to laugh, then Piper, and it slowly caught on. Trying to breathe, the imp crackled again, "Persassy Strikes again. Point two Fish Jesus."

Percy mouthed "Fish Jesus" to Annabeth who immediately glared at Leo.

Pulling her glare back and away from the cowering boy, Annabeth hugged each of the Seven         -plus three- one by one, "We got to go. If we don't get there by seven thirty I think the Avengers will actually team up and go looking for him."

"One time," Percy grumbled, "One time and you never let it go."

Ignoring what Percy mumbled, Annabeth pulled the two away and to the van where there was some guy with a lot -and Percy means a lot- of eyes.

"Wow, I see you have an eye over here."

Annabeth shot Percy a glare who only smiled and got into the van.

Percy could have sworn that the eye on the guy's elbow winked at him.

The buzz came back, but Percy ignored it. The car started to roll and soon they were left the camp.

Annabeth's eyes tracked the camp, watching it go smaller and smaller until it disappeared. "So... did anything come back?" She finally asked when the silence became too heavy.

Sighing, Percy's eye's tracked the tall buildings that surrounded him, "No."

Silence soon fell over the two.

"It's okay, you'll get them back soon," She promised, and Percy didn't know if that was for his benefit or hers.

Not knowing what else to say, he simply said the first thing on his mind "I love you."

Looking back at her, a smile graced her lips.
