Chapter 7: UGH My leg

Katie's POV:

I woke up with a really bad headache and my leg was throbbing so I yelled for my mom and she was there in 1 second. "Honey what's wrong?" she asked. "I have a really bad headache and my leg hurts really bad." "Aw lets get you downstairs and I'll ask dad what you need." So she yelled for my dad so he could pick me up and bring me downstairs. He came up and said "Lets get you some medison" So he picked me up on his back very carefully and brought me downstairs. When we got downstairs my dad put me on the couch and got a stool and a pillow and put my leg on it so it elevates. Avia came over to me and asked "How's your leg?" "It hurts but not as much as yesterday" I said. "I hope your leg gets better fast so we can play!" She said "I do too Avia" She got up and left to go play. I just stayed there because I can't get up or move. Life sucks. Tears stung my eyes i just wanted to cry so I just let it go.

Colette's POV:

I hear crying in the living room so I go and check and who do I see? Katie. I run to her and ask "what wrong honey?" While hugging her tight. "Why did this happen? Why me?" She said tears running down her face. "Katie it's not your fault you'll get better soon, I talked to the doctor this morning he said that you can be able to use your crutches without pain by tonight" She looked up at me with happy eyes and said "Really?! Awesome!" She's the cutest. "Yes really!"

*Tonight*

Katie's POV:

OMG tonight I get to use my crutches! I grabed them and got up it hurts a little but I can still use them. I crutch all the way to the kitchen were Aunt Carlie and my mom were they both said "YEAH! Katie!" They hug me and I say "I'm so happy! I need juice" They both laughed. I got some juice and went to my dad's office and sat down at the desk and watched some shaytards videos and looked at the comments and thought what? Really people hate me this much. One of the comments said "Shay you really let Katie wear all of those slu*** outfits? She looks like a who**. " Another comment said "Katie doesn't look like she's in this family I guess she didn't get the pretty family genes. She's too ugly. It's like she's adopted." I shut the computer and just sat there and I took out my phone and went on my camera and looked at my self and thought maybe I don't fit in with this family, I'm not as pretty as them. I'm just an outsider to this family.

Shays POV:

I went into my office and opened my laptop and saw a shaytards vlog and the comments were terrible Katie did nothing. Her clothes are perfect and she's beautiful. I'm gonna go tell Colette about this. I go in the kitchen and sit at the bar and say "Colette I need to talk about something." While looking at the comments on my laptop. "What's up babe?" I look up and say "These comments, there terrible. Their saying how Katie dresses poorly and that she doesn't belong in the family and they said that it's like she's adopted." She looked up from what she was doing and said " Gosh!" And slammed down her fork and said "Shay she doesn't need to be exposed to this. I know she's 13 but nobody should be treated this way." She started crying. I got up and gave her a hug and said "I know babe I know. I can't control it." She let go and said "I'm gonna go talk to her" "Ok haller if you need me." I said.

Katie's POV:

I was at my desk drawing until I heard a knock on the door so I said "Come in" It was my mom. She came in and sat on my bed and patted the space next to her so I got my crutches and went and sat next to her. She said " honey you know that there are good and bad people in the world and on the internet that want to hate on people yo- I cut her off and said "Mom I know what the people are saying about me. Their saying that I don't belong in this family and i didn't get the pretty genes that the rest of the family got and it's like I'm adopted and all that, yea it get it. And I agree with them. I know I'm not as pretty as you or Carlie or the rest of my family I'm just an outsider. I looked up at her and she looked like she was about to cry and she said "Katie you belong in this family 100%. Your beautiful in every way possible, inside and out. Nobody could ever replace you or any of my children" She gave me a big hug and said "dinner will be ready in 20." I nodded and went back to my desk and started drawing again.
