5. A dark cry for hope

"Saizo!  Dinner is ready! " Uzume called out from inside the house.  she could heard his footsteps.  feel his little burst of Chakra.  The little boy was on the move. coming closer to her. closer. and closer.  until -

"Mama!" the little boy ran inside,hiding behind his mother's leg. He looked so much like Itachi, his hair was black and he had those beautiful long lashes he had too. He was a handsome young boy.  He looked up at his mother with glistening eyes and a trembling lip.

"Hey wait!" A voice called out. Uzume narrowed her eyes listened to the voice yell out at the others.  "Nice going you idiot,you scared the poor boy!"

"Hey! Hey! Sakura that hurts!" 

Saizo looked up at his mother and gripped her robe. He was afraid... scared to death.  Uzume crouched down to her son and smiled.

"They're nice people."

He shook his head and pointed out a the roof. She nodded and activated her Sharingan, Saizo quickly ran off hiding under the table.  Someone was sitting on the roof. Putting her hands together ,she looked up at the roof and smirked. releasing her seal,she jumped. high and punched the object as hard as she could. 

"Hey that's what you get for jumping on top of someone's house!"

Now she recognized that voice.

It was Naruto.  Sasuke's partner . Last time she had seen him was at the chunin exam. He had tried to save her from Itachi's friend.

"Stay in here,okay?"

"But Mama,that girl is scary. "

Uzume smirked and looked over at her son.

"Not the slightest, my dear." she said,before sliding the door open. and walking into the forest.

The first one she had seen was Sakura, her pink hair caught her eyes from a distance.  Then she remembered the insulting looks she gave her when Sasuke wasn't looking.  Frankly, she didn't care.  she understood her love for Sasuke.

"Uzume.. " The pink haired Kunoichi said watching as the dark haired Kunoichi emerged from deep within the forest.  She heard Naruto, and saw him too.  He was standing up and holding his head. his blue eyes looked surprised to see her. 

"Sakura... Naruto." Her eyes shifted between the two she knew.  there were other's, a girl with long blonde hair, a boy who's hair was pulled into a small pony tail. A bigger guy who kept eating chips all the time. 

"what brings you here?" She asked. Afraid she may already know the answer.

To find Sasuke.

Before Sakura could say anything, The blonde girl pushed her out of the way and started going on about Sasuke 's disappearance, and claiming that he was in fact her boyfriend. Uzume bitng down her chuckle and listened to the girl.  Her lips twitched into a smile.

"...And so you see,we need to know as much as we can to find Sasuke! so you're going to help us,right? "

"That depends...how well do you know Sasuke? "

The blonde girl stopped talking.  So anbu boy crossed his arms.

"I assume you know more than we do." Naruto glared at Sai.

"Well of course she does,she's the last female Uchiha!" Then the argument came,and The blonde haired girl started to fight with Naruto and his friend. 

"Uzume,  we need all of the information we can get from you. " Kakashi said while standing next to Sakura.  Uzume took a deep breath and exhaled it. meeting Sakura's eyes. she saw the determination in them.  she loved Sasuke dearly. Uzume was there the day she confessed her love to him. The girl was hoping that will get him to stay. but it didn't... he left Konoha.
