Chapter 7

*one week later*

So school has been good I have really become good friend with the guy, I guess calum was right they are pretty cool. Walking into school today I'm a little nervous because it so hot and I'm in a short sleeve shirt. I don't normally were short selves often because I don't like to show my arms. Within my first five minuets In school I'm already greeted by the guys. "Kylie Kylie Kylie! How was your weekend?!" Ashton asks when hugging me. "Good uneventful how was yours?" "Good I hung out with the guys hey want to study tonight? We all have that huge test tomorrow." "Ya sure." "Okay your place!" Oh shit OMG I can't have them come over but how do I say that looks like I just hope nothing bad happens. "Hey Kylie can I talk to you?" Luke asks sounding a little quiet. "Ya sure what's up?" "Not to be rude guys but alone." A chorus of okays come after that and luke pulls me aside. "Hey Kylie I know we arnt that gear of friends yet but I just want to let you know if you ever need to talk you have me and I won't judge and I umm... Just... Ahh.. Don't want you cutting yourself. I know everyone has there own reasons but please just hear me out you always have me and I know what it's like to not know what to do and resort to self harming. Sorry to be so nosy." Holy crap I can't believe that just happened. "Ummm thanks Luke. Your not being nosy, can you just not tell the others because I don't want them freaking out." "No problem Kylie" after that Luke hugged me and we went back to the group.

*later that night*

Coming home is the hardest part of my day. You can say my dad is a bit of a drunk so when I come home I try to avoid him at all cost. But when I've home I hear him yelling at my mom. That's never good I know what comes from him yelling. I have to pass the living room no matter what and I know he will se me looks like this enviable. Slowly I walk by and get spotted and it's not long before I'm his next target.

(Luke's pov)

On the way to Kylie's house I felt like something was gonna happen but I will be fine. The guys are making small chatter and I can tell calum is nervous I wonder why. "Hey calum is everything okay?" "Ya no problem don't worry just I think we should pick up Kylie and go somewhere else." "Why what's the big deal you know her parents and all we are doing is studying" Ashton complains. He right though I don't se the big deal but that's until we know on her door and I hear a scream and someone yelling. "Holy shit what was that?" Ashton asks without notice calum opens the door and runs in. We all follow and the sight before us is almost unbelievable. Kylie's dad is repeatedly hitting her. She has tears steaming down her face yet it looks like she has gone though that before. Calum yells at him to stop and the guy turns to look at him and says "what the hell are you doing here I though you moved!" "No I didn't and leave Kylie alone I'm not afraid to call the cops again I though this had stopped!?" Calum says more to Kylie then her dad. "It had but i-it started back up calum! I didn't know what to do" I sat there my jaw dropped until she wen to get up but the man punched her making her fall again. At this point I couldn't take it any longer and ran to help her up. We need to get her out of here......
