Chapter 1 - School

It was a warm summer day in Mystic Falls as I sat outside of the boarding school. Waiting for my twin sister Lizzie to get out of her history class. She was tough, it was hard to put up with her sometimes, but at the end of the day she was my sister, twin sister. "Daddy has to do something about this, or I will melt my history teacher!" Lizzie said while crinkling up her badly scored test. Lizzie thought our dad could always do something about stuff like this just because our father and mother were the headmasters of The Salvatore School. "Who even is that new girl?" Lizzie said with disgust in her face. "What, what do you mean?" I turned my head to look at a girl with leather laying all over her body and her long brown hair. Who was she? I needed to know. I knew my father would have files stuffed away somewhere about her. A few hours later I went back to mine and Lizzie's boarding room to meet with my friend MG, a vampire. Did I mention that? Maybe I forgot. It's a lot to remember around here. We snuck into my dads office to learn about the new girl, Penelope Park. I had to know Penelope, whatever it took. The next morning I raised to open my curtains and took a deep breath of the crisp Virginia air, today was going to be a good day.
