[Josie]
I knew my way around this school since I have lived here nearly since I was five years old. I memorized the land like the back of my hand, which is why I offered to show Penelope around for the day. We walked through the creaky old school hallways, then the empty quiet dorm rooms, and finally the dragged woods. The hangout for all the kids around the school to throw party. "So, is this where you come out to party too?" Penelope shrugged her shoulder back at me. I was not really big into the parties around here, they were all just completely full of arrogant kids. "No, no not most of the time. I stay mostly by myself around here." I walked behind a tree standing steps behind Penelope. As I stopped mid step, Penelope turned around facing me. "You know, I really do like shyness In people." I could not honestly tell if she was trying to flirt with me or not, but I took it that way. "Look, Penelope, I'm not like that with girls, I mean if that is what you are really referring to." She smirked at me, "Oh honey, you really never know." She gave me a last smirk with a wink, I was shocked as we continued walking throughout the rest of the chilling woods. "Look Penelope, I could take you back to my room to help you get more papers for your classes." She didn't turn away from the offer as we continued to walk side by side. I turned the key into my door as I pushed the old thing open, it was nearly from a hundred years ago. "Nice room." She said laying down her book bag on my bed. "Thanks." I said replying with a smile. She walked around my room examining the laying objects. "I've heard about Lizzie. She seemed unbearable." Everyone thought about Lizzie that way, she was my sister, my best friend. I sat down on my bed, "Yeah, she's been a little off lately since my mom has been on business trips around the world." Her brown eyes shifted around her head as she walked towards my bed as she was listening to me speak. "Look Josie. I really appreciate you showing me around today. And if you are ever looking for a friend, let me know I would be glad to hang out again." Her face was so close to mine I could only see her eyelashes flash at mine. She pushed my dangling curl behind my ear. And lent in gently touching our lips. I had never kissed a girl before, I was not sure of the feeling. It felt unrealistically like fireworks that had never been discovered. She pulled away her soft lips from mine and opened her eyes. "Goodbye, Josie." She turned back and walked outside of my room into the hallway. "Bye." I said murmuring and touched my fingers to the touch of my lips once again.
