Bumping into a Gilbert

it had been a few days since I have arrived and nik has kept me couped up in the apartment the whole time.

but with nik out playing teacher I thought it would be nice to go for a walk round the town. so thats exactly what im doing right now just having a nice stroll thinking of the events that have played out so far and getting to know the new katarina, yes thats right nik found the doppleganger slut and compelled her to not leave the apartment

I was knocked out of my thoughts by a familiar looking teenage boy bumping into me

"oh sorry miss are you okay?" he asks politely while picking up my purse for me

"no worries darling, it was an accident" I smile at him "cheers for picking up my purse" I say as i walk away

"wait you forgot this!" he calls out running over to me and handing me my little black book that must of fell out

"oh cheers love, would be lost without that" I say more to myself

"wait..shouldnt you be in school?" I question smirking

his face pales and he starts scratching the back of his neck awkwardly trying to come up with an excuse most likely

"maybe?" he asks more like a question

"tut-tut" I joke "so what is your name?" I asked with a flirty smile

"jeremy" he replies "jeremy gilbert" he smiled big at me

my eyes go wide for a second before going back to normal. thats why he looked so familiar he is the cousin of the doppleganger! I clear my throat and flash him a flirty smile

"so where in england are you from?" he asks

he grins even more and starts asking all these questions about england. at some point we ended up at the grill and ordered lunch and got to know eachother abit more. although he doesnt know that I dont give a rats arse about him and im only intrested in finding out more about the dopplegangers life

"21 almost 22" I chuckle

"really? you look so..young" he says

i chuckle at his comment taking it as a compliment

"arent you the young charmer" i tease making his cheeks tint pink

I look over to see the doppleganger and the bennett girl coming over to us

"uh..hey guys" he says awkwardly

"where the hell have you been!" elena yells at him "you were supposed to be at school" she says crossing her arms over her chest while waiting for his reply
