Best Friend or Boyfriend?

Chapter 4:

Amber's POV:

I swear, my heart stopped when Cameron dared Taylor to make out with me. I didn't know what to do...

I've always liked Taylor's videos and stuff but the person I'd wanna make out with would be Hayes!

But, before I knew it...Taylor scooched over to me and started to lean it.

Then I started to think...

Would Hayes even care? It's not like he likes me back.

A dare was a dare so I guess it doesn't matter.

The kiss was slow at first the he ran his tongue along my bottom lip asking for an entrance, I accepted and we made out. I have to admit, it was nice and damn he was a really good kisser.

"Uhh hello? Guys...we're still here!"Nash chuckled.

We pulled away and Taylor had a huge smirk on his face. Our faces were still really close and he asked me truth or dare.

"Truth."I breathed.

"Did you like that little makeout?"he said while caressing my face.

"Yeah."I smiled.

Hayes's POV:

That's it. I have HAD it. I am crushed.

I got up and left.

I went to my room and slammed to door behind me.

I jumped on my bed and started crying. Maybe she never liked me more than a friend...I knew it was a mistake to fall for her and boy, I fell hard.

After about two minutes of crying my eyes out I heard a knock on my door.

"Hayes, are you alright...can I come in? It's Amber."

I didn't say anything and I kept crying.

She opened the door anyway and walked in. When she saw me crying I tried to stop cause I must look so stupid.

She came on the bed and just hugged me and put her head on my shoulder.

"Hayes, I think I know what this is about. Why are you so upset that I kissed Taylor?"

I couldn't hold it in...I had to say it.

"CAUSE I FREAKING AM IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!"

She started crying too.

"Hayes..."she sniffled.

I turned around to face her.

"What...?"I asked while wiping her tears away.

"I love you too."

Wait, what?

"Then why the hell did you make out with Taylor?"I questioned.

She sighed and explained.

Amber's POV:

"Ever since the day we kissed I have had the biggest crush on you. But, I didn't want you to not like me cause it might ruin our awesome friendship, cause without you...I'm nothing! I also thought, what if we dated but then we broke up? Or what if you found someone better..."

Tears filled up in my eyes at that thought and I looked down, but with in seconds Hayes lifted my head up and brought his face close to mine.

He kissed me and it gave me the thrill I have been craving for a year. The kiss was so passionate, just perfect.

When we pulled away, he whispered to me, "...there is no one better, your all I need Amber."and connected our lips again.

We pulled away this time out of breath.

"That was amazing..."

"Hey Amber?"Hayes looked at me sheepishly.

"Yes?"

"I was going to ask you later in the week, but do you wanna be my girlfriend?"he looked down and picked at a hangnail.

Oh my mother freaking god. Did he just seriously ask ME out?!?!?! I've only dreamt of this!

"I'd love to Hayes! I'd absolutely love to!!!"
