Kristen took out all of her belongings from the car, which was certainly a lot, before heading inside. Kristen stepped into the house and spun around looking at every inch of every wall and every room, taking in the view outside of the breath taking lake, and imagining what it would be like to wake up here every morning. Kristen threw her bags down in what appeared to be the living room, with a grand fireplace and L shaped sofa. She walked outside threw the glass door that led from the living room to the dock. Kristen noticed a boy about 5'8 standing on the dock with a fishing rod in his grip. Kristen walked towards the mysterious boy.
"Hey. I'm Kristen I just moved in to this house right along the dock."
The boy turned around to meet Kristen's gaze. He had the most beautiful blue eyes that reflected off the water like a mirror. His hair was that same shaggy style that all the boys at her school had tended to wear it, and it was the color of sand.
"Hey didn't see you there. It's good to finally have a neighbor. Im Dylan. I live in that house right there up the block with the big swing connected to the tree out front."
Kristen shifted her eyes from the boy to the house to notice his house. It was beautiful, all the houses on this block were. Kristen could only imagine what it had costed.
