♕♛ | CAMP ! ↬ entrance , a rocky ledge overhands the gap leading into camp , & above the entrance upon which the warriors build thin mossy nests , lined with bracken to keep the cold of the slate from seeping into their bones .
↬ main camp , a rock - edged clearing , with multiple caves broken into the rocks . springgrass grows during the warm season along the far ridge of camp , which kits are carefully instructed not to stray near to , lest they fall over . the cliff is hence why only the front bit of camp is used , closest to the entryway out into the woods . during free time , due to the wind which roars through the bottom of the ridge & sends chilly gusts into camp , cats often choose to remain inside their sheltered dens , built into rocky caves & under overhangs . during the rainy days of leaf - fall , the deputy of ruffleclan takes careful supervision over the rebuilding of dens , clogging threatening cracks with mud & strong sticks to prevent cave - in 's & such when the frost has the earth unstable during leafbare . because of this , many rocks , not to mention the slate which serves as a camp floor , are often mud - smeared , making it clear to any predatory birds passing above that something lives to their Intrest resides under the canopy .
